SuperVika presents “Supernova” – a song about freedom, strength and female energy

Ukrainian artist SuperVika has released her new track “Supernova” — an emotional story about a woman’s inner strength, her desire to live brightly, and her determination not to lose herself amid everyday responsibilities.

“Supernova” is a story about a woman living between two worlds. On one side, there is reality — motherhood, responsibility, daily routines, raising children, and the exhaustion that sometimes becomes an almost invisible part of life. It is a space where she carries so much on her shoulders, even when she has almost no strength left.

At the same time, there is another world — her inner one. There, she is alive, free, sensitive, creative, and full of dreams. It is where her desire to shine, to feel beauty, lightness, and her own power still exists. This part of her does not disappear under the pressure of circumstances; instead, it waits for the right moment to reveal itself.

The song explores the conflict between “have to” and “want to,” between duty and desire, between the image of a woman who carries responsibility and a woman who simply wants to live, feel, and be herself.

“Supernova” speaks about the fact that even within the most ordinary routine, there is still room for dreams. A woman can be strong and gentle, exhausted and inspired, responsible and at the same time free in her desires. She can prepare her child for kindergarten, go through difficult days, hold the world together around her — and still have the right to want something bigger, brighter, louder.

At the heart of this story is not an escape from reality, but a return to one’s true self. To the part that does not fit into convenient expectations, refuses to be only “proper” or “comfortable,” and keeps reinventing itself again and again.

“Supernova” is a metaphor for an inner explosion. An explosion of energy, beauty, freedom, and strength that has long lived inside. And perhaps the song’s main question is: what happens when a woman finally stops hiding her own light?

Because her supernova is not just a dream. It is a power she can either keep buried inside — or finally let shine.
