Ukrainian singer VYNOHRADOVA has released her new single “Please Love Me”, the song she submitted to this year’s Eurovision National Selection.
It is a dance-driven synth-pop song about closeness that has turned into habit, and about honesty that often comes too late. About the moment when love stops giving you wings and quietly becomes a cage.

The song captures everyday emotional states: moments when you don’t want to speak, when you feel unheard, when you struggle with your own vulnerability and the fear of taking the first step. Through melody and lyrics, these feelings are conveyed with subtlety, creating a sense of inner balance between the desire to be understood and the need to accept reality.
“Please Love Me” began with an intuitive melody that came first, followed by lyrics the artist worked on for much longer, aiming to capture an inner emotional state as precisely as possible. At its core, the song explores relationships held together not by love, but by habit and the fear of losing someone close.
The emotional peak of the composition comes in the bridge, which sounds like a moment of final realization:
Not every love is meant to stay forever.
And maybe ours was never meant to be.
“This song is about the moment when you realize that love is over, but you’re still afraid to leave. And every day you feel yourself slowly disappearing inside that relationship,” says VYNOHRADOVA.
VYNOHRADOVA is the author of both the music and lyrics. The arrangement was created in collaboration with WoodRecords, where the song was recorded.
“Please Love Me” is a song of quiet support for those going through an inner farewell. It is not about pain, but about maturity and acceptance. About the kind of freedom that begins with honesty toward yourself. The composition conveys a subtle everyday anxiety — when you are still physically present, but already emotionally alone — while leaving space for movement, dance, and inner release.
Musically, “Please Love Me” marks a new chapter in the artist’s work. It is her first synth-pop release. The sound is built around synthesizers, drum machines, and electronic textures that create a slightly cold, almost mechanical backdrop, while the rhythm remains danceable and driving. Against this background, the vocal stands out — calm, gentle, and fluid — subtly expressing vulnerability and doubt, making the song both danceable and emotionally resonant.
VYNOHRADOVA appeared on the music scene in 2022. Prior to that, she had been writing poetry and music without sharing it publicly. Her first studio release, “Vesna”, was selected for the longlist of Ukraine’s Eurovision National Selection that same year.
Her music combines emotional sincerity with lightness of sound within the indie-pop genre. The songs explore relationships, inner experiences, and self-discovery, creating an intimate yet dynamic space for the listener. VYNOHRADOVA writes her own music and lyrics, emphasizing naturalness and accessibility, while leaving room for emotional connection and inspiration.
The single “Please Love Me” is now available on streaming platforms. It is a song that invites you to keep moving forward — dancing, letting go, and opening space for something new.
