Yevhen Stepchenko is the founder of the SHAYRI project and a songwriter. After replacing the lead singer in the project, he continued to delight us with his incredible works.
And this time he seems to have managed to attract the attention of Ukrainian music lovers. After completing the previous album, which proved to be a success and most of the songs were played on the radio and on music platforms. Listeners motivated him to continue working on the new album and the first song in the new album was a very driving song called “Zhuravli”. The song premiered on SHAYRI’s You Tube channel on the day of Midsummer celebration
“I wrote this song almost a year ago and even forgot about it a little bit when I was listening to my work, I wondered why I don’t release it? And here it goes)! Listening to this song, it transports me to the atmosphere of the ancient holiday of Midsummer, so it was decided to present it on this day. By the way, I wrote the music for it in about 15 minutes, and the lyrics in about 7 minutes.
It was written with a strange feeling of ease and this time I didn’t have to dive into myself to synchronize with the atmosphere I wanted to convey to the audience, and let people decide what happened!” – shared Eugene Stepchenko.
The replacement of the vocalist was beneficial, because, in my opinion, there is much more enthusiasm and energy. The producer is keeping the name of the new singer a secret for now, but there are rumors that she is a fairly well-known Ukrainian artist who has moved from another project to this young and promising music project. So we will definitely follow them, because we really want to know who this new SHAYRI is with such a magical voice.
