Her modeling career is impressive: she has represented Ukraine in over 17 international beauty contests and participated in more than 50 fashion shows. Her influence extends far beyond the world of glamour, turning her into an important figure in cultural diplomacy.
Her unique appearance, grace, and elegance have made Rimma a recognizable personality on the international stage, allowing her to collaborate with renowned designers at prestigious fashion events. Besides her outward beauty, her activities also encompass an important mission of cultural exchange. As she mentions: “It is a great honor for me to represent my country at such grand global fashion events.”

Rimma believes that these events serve as platforms for cultural exchange. Through her interactions with designers and industry professionals, she fosters the strengthening of international relations and promotes cultural exchange between nations.

Recently, Rimma attended Paris City Fashion Week, where her participation was met with admiration from the audience and the press. In the fashion capital, she took part in numerous events and activities.
She shared her impressions of her participation in Paris Haute Couture Week: “My day at Paris City Fashion Week starts around 7 a.m., when I take a contrast shower to wake up and energize. Then comes coffee and a light breakfast—everything I need to have energy for a whole day of rehearsals and shows,” says Rimma.

The preparation for each show is very intensive: stylists, makeup artists, and hairstylists work on creating the desired look. Rimma notes that her makeup and hairstyle change several times throughout the day, giving her the chance to feel like a different person at each show. “I try to enjoy the process of the runway to the fullest, moving to the music and listening to the support from the designers and choreographers,” the model shares.
A career in fashion is not only about beauty and posing; it’s also about intense physical and mental work. Rimma emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balance between work and health. “I stick to a healthy diet, drink plenty of water, and make time for meditation and cardio exercises,” she notes. A few weeks before shows, she avoids sweets and baked goods, focusing on a healthy lifestyle.
Rimma also supports important changes in the fashion industry related to inclusivity and sustainability. “These changes are very important because inclusivity opens doors for everyone, and sustainability helps preserve the planet for future generations,” she says.
The model also actively follows global fashion trends and strives to combine them with Ukrainian styles to support the development of the Ukrainian fashion industry. She admires brands such as Dior, Chanel, Hermès, and Prada, each of which has its own unique style and philosophy, which influences her own approach to fashion.
Rimma Badun is not only a charismatic model but also a profound personality who has learned an important lesson: “Confidence in yourself is the key to success. Fashion is not just about appearance; it’s about the ability to convey emotions and character through movement, gaze, and style.”
With each runway appearance, Rimma proves that fashion is not only business but also art. For her, Paris City Fashion Week is not just about shows, but a celebration of creativity and self-expression. As an artist, model, and activist, Rimma continues to break barriers and set new standards in the fashion industry, strengthening cultural diplomacy, international friendship, and using her platform for positive change.
