Kryvyi Rih rock band ELLIS released the first part of their debut album called “Bible for the Poor”. The album was recorded and mixed at the local studio Rakurs Records.

The ELLIS group was created in 2019, but starting from 2022, the guys reoriented their style to a more acute social context.
Their main source of inspiration is punk music, including artists such as Sum 41, Blink-182, The Offspring. In addition, the band’s guitarist has a strong affinity for jazz music and metal, which adds a special flavor to their compositions.
The band dreams of fitting into the cool Ukrainian punk movement and playing on the same stage with Zhadan i Sobaky and Palindrome, whose influence was important for their creativity.
An interesting fact is that the band members live in different cities: Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro and Kyiv.
The band’s immediate plans include the release of the second part of the album and the organization of a charity tour of Ukraine.
