Vidbir 2024 wildcard contest – Who should progress to Ukraine’s national final?

Posted on 13 December 2023 By Admin No Comments on Vidbir 2024 wildcard contest – Who should progress to Ukraine’s national final?

Last month, the first ten finalists of Vidbir 2024 were revealed. But there’s still one place remaining in Ukraine’s national selection for Eurovision next year, with a wildcard slot available to nine acts.

These nine songs have now been released by broadcaster Suspilne. It’s down to the Ukrainian public to decide which one of them should join the rest of the line-up. Voting is taking place within the Diia mobile app and the result will be announced on 29 December.

The wildcard round is open to the longlist acts who failed to make it past the live audition round. Although this originally consisted of ten participants, Julia Belei has withdrawn her candidacy for the wildcard contest due to personal reasons that now mean she is no longer able to continue in the selection.

Whilst we wait to see who the Ukrainian public have chosen, we want to hear who your pick would be. Listen to all nine songs below and then scroll down to vote in our poll. You can vote for as many acts as you want but you can only vote once.
