Apel8 has been fascinated by music since childhood. He was born into a family of musicians – his father played in a jazz band and his mother was a piano teacher. He attended music school and graduated with a degree in sound engineering.
The singer’s musical talent was uniquely combined with creativity. As a teenager, Apel8 began to be interested in design and 3D graphics and became a true professional, creating textures for the Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind game. And to this day, the musician does not leave the profession of illustrator and texture artist.
Apel8 took up music seriously in December 2021 after meeting Robbie Sukiasyan, who was working with one of his favorite artists at the time, XXXTENTACION. And it was then that he first released his own music on Soundcloud and posted his two debut singles – “Snowflakes” and “Tense”.
And at the beginning of the next year, 2022, Apel8 releases his first EP, “8”, in collaboration with such famous artists as ZillaKami, Kamiyada+, and ITSOKTOCRY.
After that, Apel8 actively immerses himself in music. And in February, he announced that he was working on his first studio album, which he would release in June of the same year.
The year 2023 became a landmark for the artist. In March, he announces that he is working on a new album “The Sands Of Time”.
Today, the musician presents a new track from this album called “Heat”, which was written together with Dro Kenji, an American rapper and singer from South Carolina.
This track will be included in the first part of the album “The Sands Of Time” and will consist of two parts. It will also include a release with Dro Kenji in the style of emo-rap.
Apel8 shares: “This track is about despair, about finding yourself, finding understanding in people, when you want to feel normal without hypocrisy. When I wrote this track, I was sure that no one understood me. When I give warmth, people don’t need it and no one appreciates it. At that moment, I was tired of hypocrites, people who lie to your face. They are everywhere. And this track is about them.”
“Look for real feelings and appreciate them,” the singer adds.
Now the musician and designer are planning to release a music video for this track with graphics and a Lamborghini.
It is worth noting Apel8’s unique style, which was influenced by alternative rock, punk, pop and rap. That’s why Apel8’s musical style is called “emo rap” or “melodic rap”, which broke the boundaries of the usual styles.
