Pop, spice, and a touch of self-irony: watch Angela’s new video – “Tviy salonnyy ohirchyk” (Your Salon Cucumber)

Posted on 30 September 2025 By Admin No Comments on Pop, spice, and a touch of self-irony: watch Angela’s new video – “Tviy salonnyy ohirchyk” (Your Salon Cucumber)

Singer Angela has released the music video for “Tviy salonnyy ohirchyk” (Your Salon Cucumber) — an ironic pop track about “expired boys” and clichés in relationships. The song boldly mocks stereotypes linked to toxic masculinity, showing how male roles often remain a set of clichés instead of genuine maturity. The video translates this idea into a kitchen scene.

The clip unfolds as a cooking show. On screen, Angela teams up with a chef to “marinate her cucumbers” — adding spices, sauces, and plenty of jokes. The camera catches movements, funny details, and theatrical moments, creating the effect of an improvised performance.

But just as the viewer sinks into the show’s atmosphere, the frame shifts: Angela is suddenly at home — in pajamas, holding a hairdryer or a makeup brush. These household scenes add a sense of absurd everydayness, as if our daily rituals are no different from a public show. And then — a sharp return to the kitchen with the mustached chef, spices flying at the camera, the music pumping energy.

This constant alternation creates a playful effect: where’s the line between performance and routine? Isn’t our daily life already a show on its own? The video doesn’t give a direct answer but invites us to look at everyday life and relationships with a dose of light self-irony.

The visual rhythm amplifies the track’s sound: there’s no moralizing or heavy conclusions here — just playful pop teasing familiar archetypes and suggesting we let them go with humor. The video, just like the song itself, tastes like a cocktail of everyday life, spectacle, and bold laughter at stereotypes.

Dive into the rhythm, humor, and details of every frame — Angela’s new clip is waiting for you:
