The event was held at the Pavlo Tychyna Literary Memorial Museum and Apartment and was part of the Soul of Ukraine art project.
The flower vernissage opened on a symbolic date – June 1, the beginning of summer.
The author of the idea and curator of the art project is a well-known Ukrainian artist of Estonian origin, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Ellen ORRO.
The art event became a real spring extravaganza of color, inspiration and beauty. The artists came together to convey the tenderness of lilacs, the brightness of tulips and the warmth of creativity in their works. The atmosphere was lilac, warm, cheerful and friendly.

The exhibition featured the works of such famous and talented artists and members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine: Ellen ORRO, founder of the Soul of Ukraine art project, member of the National Union of Artists, People’s Artist of Ukraine Valeriy Franchuk, Oleksiy Ovcharenko, Pavel Sharko, Viktor Veres, Ihor Matsyuk, Danylo Nozdria, Ivanna Moskovka, Yelyzaveta Gerasymenko, Hanna Kharchenko-Balamadzhi, Maryna Zahorna, Valerii Kozub, Nina Lytvyn, Iryna Sverhun, Mykola Sverhun, Alla Osadcha, Inna Kalyta, Oleksandr Vasyliev, Tetiana Artemova, Olha Halahuz, Olena Pohrebniak, Lidiia Nechyporchuk, Natalia Brzezowska, Natalia Vashchuk, Iryna Yatskovska and her students, Olena Zabavina, and Sofia Borozenets.

Talented artists created a wonderful combination of the presented art objects with colorful works that were appreciated by connoisseurs of contemporary Ukrainian fine art and pleased the participants of this floral vernissage.
All participants of the exhibition received certificates of appreciation for their contribution to art.
A constant element of all events of the Soul of Ukraine art project is a noble goal: a charity lottery
At the opening of the floral vernissage, Ellen ORRO said: “We, the artists, are sincerely grateful to our soldiers for their tireless work. We have always helped them. And now – also. But my friends and creative colleagues have gathered at the Pavlo Tychyna Museum not only for this. Look around you. Yes, each of us has to live and create in a very difficult time. But we are trying not to lose our optimism and are already starting to think about the future, when Ukraine will win. We, the artists, are trying to heal the souls of Ukrainians with our art, to cheer them up with the help of beauty on canvas.”

The flower vernissage will allow you to “switch” to the positive, to communicate directly with the artists who give the world the energy of happiness and goodness. After all, in each work, talented artists try to visualize the future of Ukraine, which will flourish.
The event also featured a fashion show of the author’s necklace made of natural stones by artist, poet and designer Svitlana Holovchuk (Brand of the Year 2024, Order of St. Sophia), which created the atmosphere of early summer.
As part of the event, a win-win lottery of paintings was held among the guests – the lucky ones went home with unique works. All 100% of the donations raised were transferred to the restoration of the hospital’s base.
All the paintings at the exhibition are available for purchase. However, some paintings from the vernissage have already been bought, but they remained on display until the end of the event so that visitors could still see the incredible beauty. If you want to replenish your collection of original paintings by famous artists, hurry up!

So, the Lilacs and Tulips exhibition has become a real holiday – sincere, bright and inspiring.
We invite everyone to feel this warmth. Come and invite your friends to admire the unique paintings, recharge your batteries and, most importantly, help our defenders.
The exhibition “Lilacs and Tulips” is open to the public every day from June 1 to June 10, 2025 from 10:00 to 17:00.

The exhibition featured works by the artist Viktor Veres. The artist likes to work in the open air, the artist’s works are striking in their uniqueness. They are full of calm depth and careful observation of the world. His canvases are marked with a special atmosphere – they feel the living presence of nature, the silence of the moment when the artist is alone with the landscape.

The author is able to see the unusual in the ordinary, giving familiar landscapes a new sound.

“I like to observe with a brush. Most of all, I appreciate the moment when the world stops and allows me to see myself. I look for the interesting in the simple – this is the meaning of painting for me,” says Viktor Veres.
