Horoscopes lie, but music does not: KARYN debunks love myths in “Tarot”

The singer KARYN surprised with her new single “Tarot”, surprising with an interesting sound and an unexpected theme. This is a playful love story in which magic and stars do not always coincide with reality.

The track “Tarot” combines light irony with dance rhythms, and its lyrics are full of astrological references familiar to anyone who has ever asked: “What’s your zodiac sign?” It’s a song about those moments when you try to find an explanation for your feelings in charts, horoscopes, and karmic connections, and your rational Taurus just shrugs.

“This song is about those moments when we justify someone else’s indifference with karma or unfortunate planetary alignment. But sometimes you just want to press the ‘reset fortune telling’ button and enjoy the moment,” says KARYN.

The song balances between mysticism and reality, between belief in fate and the realization that everything is in our hands. It reminds us how easy it is to look for explanations for our feelings in external signs, even if we already know the answer somewhere deep inside. “Tarot” plays on contrasts – between romance and skepticism, jokes and sincere emotions, what is written on the cards and what is actually felt.

“I wanted to make a song that would make even skeptics smile. In the end, it doesn’t matter who you are according to your horoscope – the main thing is that you have the right vibe in your playlist,” adds KARYN.

The lyrics and music are by KARYN, and sound production was done by Anna Nikolaychuk and Boris Kukoba. The single is already available on all streaming platforms, so dive into the magic with KARYN!

“Tarot” is a playful story about love, astrology, and attempts to find an explanation for feelings in cards and horoscopes. “TARO” combines ironic lyrics, dance rhythms and a light vibe that captivates from the first listen. This is a track about doubts, signs of fate, and magic that sometimes exists only in our imagination.
