On May 19, the second UKRAINIAN FASHION FILM FESTIVAL, a charity evening of Ukrainian culture, beauty and fashion celebrating the ancient roots and exquisite culture of Ukraine, will take place in the heart of the French city of Cannes, at the Villa Domergue during the 77th Cannes International Film Festival.
Ukraine is one of the oldest countries in Europe. Ukrainian culture has a thousand-year history and is the foundation of human society. Culture is not only art, it is values!
The purpose of the event is to introduce the community to the soul of modern Ukraine through its culture, namely the latest collections of famous Ukrainian designers, film screenings, traditional dishes in a modern interpretation, beauty, art, culture, star performers, mentors, to show the indomitable nature of the Ukrainian people and their national identity.
The program of the event includes shows of new Spring-Summer 2024 collections from leading Ukrainian brands and designers: Park Avenue Atelier, Iryna Luzhetska, By Vel.
In addition to fashion shows, art and film presentations of the Ukrainian industry, the event program includes performances by famous Ukrainian artists: YAGODY, Ilona Gvozdeva – winner of the project “Dancing with the Stars”, the headliner of the event – Eurovision 2024 participant JERY HEIL.
The host of the evening is a special guest, Oleg Skrypka!
A legend of Ukrainian rock music, actor, singer, songwriter, leader of the world’s most popular Ukrainian rock band Vopli Vidoplyasova, owner and organizer of the Krayina Mriy festival, and founder of the Rock Sich festival of contemporary Ukrainian rock music. He will exclusively conduct a tasting of a collection of drinks from the SHABO brand.
A charity auction to raise funds to support children in Ukraine will be a key part of the event.
Among the celebrities invited to the event are stars of French art, sports and political life and world famous personalities.
The UKRAINIAN FASHION FILM charity event will be held with the support and assistance of the Association France Ukraine – Idees sans frontier Cote d’Azur.
