Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union Step Out in Style for 2024 Oscars

Posted on 10 March 2024 By Admin No Comments on Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union Step Out in Style for 2024 Oscars

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have arrived at the 96th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The power couple oozed glamour, with Wade hitting the red carpet in a white tuxedo jacket with black trim that paired nicely with his dark slacks and bowtie. As for Union, she looked incredible in a silver strapless peplum mini-dress, matching maxi skirt from Carolina Herrera’s pre-fall 2024 collection, and black satin Stuart Weitzman shoes. With her hair in a top knot done by celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims with Kristin Ess Hair hot tools, the actress accessorized with a sparkling Tiffany & Co. statement necklace and small earrings.

It was a big night for Wade. He served as an executive producer for The Barber of Little Rock, which was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Documentary Short category. The Barber of Little Rock explores America’s widening racial wealth gap through the years of Arlo Washington, a local barber whose visionary approach to a just economy can be found in the mission of People Trust, the nonprofit community bank he founded.

Wade co-executive produced the short doc alongside Dan Cogan, Liz Garbus and Jon Bardin. John Hoffman and Christine Turner co-directed the film.

The Last Repair Shop took home the Oscar.

The three-time NBA champion and his actress wife aren’t new to Oscars success. The couple served as co-producers for the 2019 short animated film, Hair Love, which won an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film at the 2020 Academy Awards. The short animated film centers on a man who must style his daughter’s hair for the first time. Issa Rae lent her voice to the animated film.

The 2024 Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, airs live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 10, at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET on ABC. Follow along at ETonline.com for full Oscars coverage, including red carpet arrivals, the complete winners list and more.
