Wiwi Wishlist: NOËP is our dream pick for Estonia

Posted on 25 October 2025 By Admin No Comments on Wiwi Wishlist: NOËP is our dream pick for Estonia

It’s that time of year when we’re desperate for our next Eurovision fix. And what better way to cope with those winter blues than to ponder which artists would be fantastic picks for their countries at Eurovision? Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing our top wishlist picks for each country at the Eurovision Song Contest.

The greatest thing about our wishlist is that there aren’t any rules. No “they would never do Eurovision!” No “but that wouldn’t be possible because…”. Not even a “but that country hasn’t participated in X number of years”.

Welcome to the Wiwi Wishlist, where we fantasize about the perfect artists for each country. Over the years dozens of our wishes have been granted. So what might the future hold? Let’s find out…

Wiwi Wishlist: NOËP for Estonia

Andres Kõpper — better known as NOËP — has been quietly shaping Estonia’s pop-electronic and house landscape for nearly a decade. His sleek production, cinematic live shows, and knack for blending organic and digital sounds make him one of the country’s most export-ready artists. Though he’s already stepped onto the Eesti Laul stage as recently as 2023 as part of Meelik, it’s the NOËP project that feels tailor-made for Eurovision.

A singer, songwriter, producer, and director, NOËP brings a complete creative vision to every performance – from visuals to sound design.
He often collaborates with orchestras, guest vocalists, and visual designers, turning every stage into a world of its own.

“There’s no other show like Eurovision for an artist,” NOËP tells Wiwibloggs. “You could go from being a bedroom artist to performing for hundreds of millions of people in a matter of months — and I think that’s really cool and unique.”

He’s currently working on new music (even collaborating with Eurovision alumni Puuluup this year) and exploring fresh sounds. “I’m excited to hear what listeners will think of it,” he adds. “Something new is coming soon”.

Maybe it’s a hint of a potential Eesti Laul submission? We shall wait and see.

Electronic music hasn’t always had an easy time at Eurovision, but when done right – it can make a statement.

Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025

Estonia will be hoping to repeat the success from the contest in Basel. Internationally-adored Tommy Cash represented the Balkan nation with his fun and insanely catchy entry ‘Espresso Macchiato’, and got Estonia a Top 3 placing, narrowly missing out on the televote win by one point.

The entry was controversial at first, with many not getting in on the gag. However his genius staging in Basel won even some of the harshest critics over. A moment of sheer brilliance had a ‘fan’ stage invading to dance with Tommy, which enhanced his already unforgettable performance involving his dancing security bods.

Can Estonia reach these heights again in 2026, or even improve on the result? We’ll have to see, when it comes to Vienna.

Who would you love to see represent Estonia at Vienna 2026? Can they win the Eurovision Song Contest once again, for the first time since their triumph in 2001? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
