Sweden’s Klara Hammarström wins OGAE Second Chance Contest 2025 with “On and On and On”

Posted on 4 October 2025 By Admin No Comments on Sweden’s Klara Hammarström wins OGAE Second Chance Contest 2025 with “On and On and On”

They are a powerhouse in the Eurovision Song Contest, and they certainly aren’t less of a powerhouse in the OGAE Second Chance Contest. It is the Nordic giants Sweden we are talking about, who have once again emerged victorius in the yearly OGAE contest for the songs, that didn’t make it to Eurovision that year.

Four-time Melodifestivalen contestant Klara Hammarström took home the trophy for the Swedes with “On and On and On” – after finishing fourth in this year’s Melfest final – ahead of last year’s winner country Italy’s Giorgia and “La cura per me” in second place and Finland’s Goldielocks with “Made Of” in third place.

This was Sweden’s 19th victory overall in the OGAE Second Chance Contest since it’s inauguration in 1987 and the fourth victory in six years after also winning in 2020, 2022 and 2023.
