Summer is the quiet period for Eurovision fans as we wait for the new season to commence. Thankfully, the music will always continue and a number of Eurovision artists are still producing new songs for us to enjoy.
Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.
Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.
New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 29
Loreen, Dimitri Vegas & David Guetta – “Pum Pum”
Sweden, Belgium and France join forces for a dance track that will get your summer parties bouncing. Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen provides the vocals for this latest creation by DJs Dimitri Vegas and David Guetta. “Pum Pum” is a high-octane record driven by rapid-fire BPMs and booming basslines, with Loreen’s hypnotic voice providing the track with an emotional intensity.
Speaking about the collaboration, Loreen shared:
“What I loved about creating ‘Pum Pum’ was the pure freedom of it, no rules, just energy and instinct. Working with David and Dimitri on something so unexpected, so raw and full of movement, felt like stepping into a new dimension. It’s hypnotic, primal, and made to move both your body and your spirit.”
Braaten feat. EMMY – “I’m Yours”
“I’m Yours” was first released by American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz. Norwegian producer Braaten has given the song an update and invited Eurovision 2025 star EMMY to provide the vocal line. This new version adds in more digital production on top of the percussion.
Brunette – “AMPITS MAQUR”
If you loved Brunette’s Eurovision 2023 appearance, then you’ll want to check out the Armenian star’s newest single. She returns to a similar R&B ballad style for “AMPITS MAQUR” (“Clearer than a cloud”). Lyrically, Brunette uses the weather to represent her current relationship: “Clearer than a cloud / I will endure your love / I will wake up in your arms / I will give you to me and go.”
Little Big – “COCO COPTER”
Meet “COCO COPTER,” the latest brainrot character from the minds of Little Big. Russia’s Eurovision 2020 entrants describe the track in the music video description as follows:
“The Original Kings of Italian Brainrot are back with their latest wild creation! If you thought Bombardino Crocodilo was over the top, and Ballerina Cappuccina felt too tame for your hardcore disco cravings, buckle up. Coco Copter spins through chaos, dodges Skibidi Toilet, and drops bangers like its second nature. It’s loud. It’s absurd. And yeah… it’s definitely going to get stuck in your head for way too long. You’ve been warned.”
Mae Muller – My Island
Grab the sun cream, we’re heading to Mae Muller’s island. The British singer’s journey as an independent artist has led to the release of a five-track EP. Fans will already know previous singles “Breakaway” and “In My Head,” which has gone viral on TikTok. That leaves an additional three new catchy pop offerings to dive into. Writing about the EP on social media, the Eurovision 2023 star commented:
“this ep has been my little labour of love over the past year, i’ve laughed, cried and danced making it and i’m just so excited to release it out in to the world!!! i’ve been creating my own space where i can make what i want, not waiting on other peoples opinions or stressing over a deadline, just making music in the most honest way. i found a lil team of people that really inspire me and was lucky enough to do this with. my island, a place i created where we can be free and fun, you’re all invited.”
Iveta Mukuchyan – “Oderov”
Iveta Mukuchyan has a mid-tempo R&B track for us. “Oderov” (“In the air”) sees Armenia’s Eurovision 2016 star on the lookout for a special someone. She’s committed to finding her way into their arms: “I was looking for you / Everywhere / Love in the air / It takes us up / Every day / Every day / I found a new path leading me to you / And there is nothing to stop me this time.”
Arjau feat. Sergio Dalma & Carlos Coronado – “Busca’m a l’Empordà”
Spanish trio Arjau specialise in Havaneres — a style of music created by Catalan soldiers returning from Cuba. On their new album, you’ll find a track that features Eurovision 1991 performer Sergio Dalma, along with Carlos Coronado. “Busca’m a l’Empordà” is a nostalgic song driven by acoustic guitar that celebrates the region of Empordà in Catalonia.
Carolyna feat. Jessy Matador – “Okaman”
“Okaman” is thirty years old — it was initially recorded in 1995 by Ivory Coast singer Monique Séka. To mark three decades since its release, French-Ivorian performer Carolyna has remixed the track and shared her own version. However, rather than being a solo affair like the original afro-zouk track, this one features extra rap contributions from Eurovision 2010 star Jessy Matador.
Brendan Murray – Covers
Brendan Murray has shared a short EP of stripped-back Covers. Ireland’s Eurovision 2017 representative sings alongside an acoustic guitar on the three tracks: Chris Stapleton’s “Whiskey and You,” Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance,” and Zach Bryan’s “Something in the Orange.”
ela. – “EASY”
Life is a breeze for ela. at the moment because she’s got her loved one beside her to provide all the good energy: “With you it’s so easy / We can do anything / Some people run in circles / Things are going well for us / Everything’s so easy with you.” Germany’s Eurovision 2014 singer shares this message in the form of a retro pop track.
Svala – “Þitt fyrsta bros”
Eurovision 2017 alumna Svala continues her string of cover songs with “Þitt fyrsta bros” (“Your first smile”). The track was initially released as an orchestral ballad by Icelandic singer Pálmi Gunnarsson in 1991. For her rendition, Svala ups the tempo and adds in a retro dance-pop beat.
Páll Óskar & Benni Hemm Hemm – “Valentínus”
Valentine’s Day may be fill the air with romance, but a strong relationship needs to be able to last the other 364 days of the year as well (365 in a leap year). Páll Óskar has seemingly found a love that looks set to last: “Celebrate a day / Valentines / Buy a sea of flowers / This has become much / Deeper than that.”
Iceland’s Eurovision 1997 star has released the jazzy “Valentínus” alongside producer Benedikt Hermannsson, who leads the band Benni Hemm Hemm.
Nikolas Raptakis – “Simmorfosou”
Nikolas Raptakis was one half of Freaky Fortune — Greece’s Eurovision 2014 act. His new solo single is “Simmorfosou” (“Comply”), which blends folk and pop elements. The accompanying music video begins with a comedy skit that depicts the panel of a TV breakfast show in a humorous way.
VILIJA – “Vienas Žodis”
VILIJA was Lithuania’s representative at Eurovision 2014. The singer’s latest release is “Vienas Žodis” (“One Word”). It’s an atmospheric, mid-tempo offering that provides a spiritual pop soundscape.
