Summer is the perfect season for concerts and gigs, and exciting news is coming from Romania: Roxen, who represented her country at Eurovision 2021 with the song “Amnesia,” is set to treat her UK fans this summer with a concert and a meet and greet on 25 July in London.

The event is organized by Platform ’96 & Universal Music Romania.

Roxen to perform UK debut concert

Roxen is set to perform on 25 July in London at The Engine Rooms (Unit 30, Bow Triangle Business Center, Eleanor St., London E3 4UR). The stage is her home, and she’s excited and ready to perform the songs you all want to hear.

One hour before the live show, there will be a meet and greet session, which includes a signed Instax photo of you with Roxen and provided as a special keepsake. Please note that Meet & Greet tickets must be purchased separately from General Admission tickets.

General Admission and Meet & Greet tickets have limited availability on Gigantic & SeeTickets.

Can’t make it to London but still want to experience the show? No problem! Live stream tickets are also available. Enjoy the concert in high-quality video and audio from the comfort of your home, anywhere in the world. Even better, you’ll be able to re-watch the performance anytime you like, with on-demand access after the live event.

You can buy your live stream tickets on EventLive

This year, Roxen was invited to perform at the Eurovision pre-party in Madrid, an event that reconnected her with the Eurovision audience, who were thrilled to hear her music once again. And this is just the beginning. Now under Universal Music Romania, she is ready to expand her international fanbase even further.

This summer, Roxen is coming to the United Kingdom for a special concert organized by Platform ’96 and Universal Music Romania. The singer will captivate the audience with her unique voice, performing some of the most beloved songs from her discography. Fans will also have the chance to connect with her during a meet and greet event. About her upcoming London gig, Roxen shared:

“I’m so excited to come to London! It’s been something I’ve had in the works for a while, and I’m so glad it’s finally happening! I can’t wait to see you all!”

A launchpad for emerging artists

The event has been organised by Platform ’96, a one-person start-up by Vlad-Paul Ghilaș, revolutionising the music scene by providing a launchpad for emerging artists. With a hands-on approach, Platform ‘96 is a name to know in the London and Brighton music scenes, with its eyes set on new horizons. Since its launch, they’ve organised successful gigs in iconic venues like The Black Heart, The Water Rats, and a sold-out event at Hope & Anchor. Their involvement in the Brighton leg of Black Orchid Empire’s wide 2025 UK Tour has set a high standard for promoting upcoming bands in truly unforgettable shows.

Their initiative gained national and international recognition when organising the London debut of Theodor Andrei, Romania’s Eurovision 2023 representative. Building upon this success, Platform ’96 proudly hosts the highly anticipated London debut for Roxen. This event signifies a new milestone for Platform ’96, demonstrating their commitment to bringing world-class talent to the forefront and further solidifying their position as a prominent player in the entertainment industry.

Eurovision was the game changer for Roxen

Roxen has an enthusiastic and rapidly growing international audience. She was first selected to represent Romania in 2020. That year, the singer from Cluj-Napoca released five songs for the Romanian national selection and performed them all during Selecția Națională. Her emotional ballad, “Alcohol You,” won both the jury and the public vote, capturing the hearts of Eurovision fans. Unfortunately, the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest was cancelled due to the pandemic.

But Roxen’s Eurovision journey didn’t end there. In 2021, she was internally re-selected to represent Romania once again. That year, she took the stage in Rotterdam with the song “Amnesia,” a powerful anthem about self-love and healing that deeply resonated with the audience. The song garnered millions of streams and views, and charted in several European countries, opening new doors for Roxen’s growing international appeal.

Roxen’s music career began shortly before her selection for Eurovision 2020, and from the start, she set her sights on an international audience, with the contest serving as the perfect launching pad. She made her debut in 2019 with the single “You Don’t Know Me,” a collaboration with producer Sickotoy. The track reached number three in Romania and received significant radio airplay in France, the United States, and Spain. Later that year, she released her first solo single, “Ce-ți cântă dragostea” (What Does Your Love Sing), which dominated the Romanian charts and became the most Shazamed Romanian song of 2020.

After the cancellation of Eurovision 2020, Roxen teamed up with 2009 Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak for the song “Wonderland.” That same year, she was honored with the International Breakthrough Award at The Artist Awards 2020.

Following her Eurovision appearance, Roxen attracted more exciting collaborations, such as “Money Money” with DMNDS and Strange Fruits Music, and “Dincolo de Marte” (Above Mars) with Romanian artist Randi, a member of the Selecția Națională jury panel in 2022, which peaked at number two in Romania.

Roxen has remained experimental in her musical style ever since, exploring a wide range of genres, from emotional ballads and pop bangers to tracks with folkloric influences. To date, she has amassed over 200 million views on YouTube and built a loyal fanbase of nearly 600,000 followers across her social media platforms.
