We belong together! Mariah Carey headlines an all-star lineup of acts at Brighton Pride 2025

Posted on 2 June 2025 By Admin No Comments on We belong together! Mariah Carey headlines an all-star lineup of acts at Brighton Pride 2025

Last year, Girls Aloud served a steamy catalogue of perfectly-crafted pop at Brighton Pride. Then, Mika closed the park festivities with an incredible set of hits on Sunday. This year is set to go even bigger with Mariah Carey headlining, Loreen performing and The Sugababes closing.

Brighton Pride 2025: The lineup

Dubbed the Queen of Christmas due to the enduring popularity of her holiday music, Mariah Carey is also an LGBTQ+ ally. In addition to notching 19 Billboard number one hits and selling over 100 million records, Mariah Carey is more than just a powerhouse. Her vision, music and personality have touched many LGBTQ+ fans who continue to celebrate her legacy.

Double Eurovision winner Loreen needs no introduction. She will dazzle the crowd with stellar vocals, synth magic, and her growing catalogue of cult classics. Will she slay? Oh yes, she will!

The original lineup of The Sugababes will close the festival on Sunday 3 August. Their brand has achieved six number one singles in the UK and eight albums — five of which are certified platinum. Fans can expect to hear hits such as “Freak like Me”, “Round Round”, “Hole in the Head”, “Push the Button”, “Overload”, “About You Now” and their latest single Jungle.

Brighton & Hove Pride 2025

If you haven’t been to Brighton in a while, get ready to return this summer. Brighton & Hove is home to one of the most spectacular pride celebrations on the continent. The parade at Brighton & Hove Pride takes place on the weekend of Saturday 2 August on the seafront, and proudly shouts its theme of “RAVISHING RAGE” from the rooftops.

The organisers of Brighton & Hove Pride have said:

“Through every struggle, we shine. ‘Ravishing Rage’ is more than a parade — it’s a celebration of resilience, spirit, passion and unity. This year, we march with unstoppable energy and fearless spirit, turning adversity into triumph.”

This LGBTQ+ Community Parade is one of the undisputed highlights of the Brighton & Hove Pride weekend and it is a glorious showcase of the charities, community groups and small businesses, as well as invaluable emergency services, in the twin cities.

Brighton & Hove Pride

It is the most colourful show in Brighton & Hove’s events calendar, with over 330,000 people thronging the city’s streets to participate in the all-singing, all-dancing carnival of colour as it wends its way from Hove Lawns to Preston Park for Fabuloso — the two day concert at Preston Park which has played host to some of the world’s biggest pop stars including Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Years & Years, Black Eyed Peas, Pet Shop Boys, Steps, Grace Jones and Christina Aguilera.

Brighton & Hove Pride 2025

This year is no exception. Joining the stable of great acts are Will Young, Confidence Man, Ultra Naté, Sonique, Natalie Imbruglia and Sister Sledge. Save the date! It’s the first weekend in August.

But there’s more. There’s a Pride Village Party where entertainment zones, bars and venues, live performances and cabaret, DJs, drag artists, singers, performers and musicians come together for an unforgettable weekend of fundraising celebrations. If you want to hear some DJs spin “Fuego” to “SloMo”, that’s where you want to be. We will be sharpening our falsetto to Theo Evan’s tune in the fields.

If you want to wind down in an amazing celebratory weekend atmosphere, there’s a special Pride campsite where you can snooze under the stars — affordable but kitted with everything you need, including catering and shower facilities. The Pride Campsite at Waterhall is perfectly equipped for your weekend stay. The pop-up Brighton Pride Camp Camp is always filled with an amazing celebratory atmosphere from Friday to Monday to make it a three day weekend. The Camp Shop will provide you with all your Pride provisions and on-site catering. You can book your pitch size according to your party size with costs based on the number of occupants. There’s also a dedicated bus service between the campsite and the city centre throughout the weekend.

Brighton & Hove Pride is a not for profit community interest organisation. All ticket revenue raised goes directly to the operational and running costs of producing the Pride Festival, LGBTQ+ Pride Community Parade, Pride Village Party, local community grant programmes, the Rainbow Fund and Social Impact Fund.

Secure your tickets here.
