Remember Monday reveal UK’s Eurovision 2025 entry “What The Hell Just Happened?”

The worst kept secret of this year’s selection season is now out there. Remember Monday have officially been confirmed as the UK’s act for Eurovision 2025, where they will perform the entry “What The Hell Just Happened?”

The official announcement and first play of the song was made by Scot Mills on the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show.

Remember Monday – “What The Hell Just Happened?” (UK Eurovision 2025)

Remember Monday are a trio comprised of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull, and Charlotte Steele.

They met when they were still at school and started making music together every Monday. In 2019 they competed on the U.K. edition of The Voice, where they were coached by Jennifer Hudson.

Although the group have previously focused on country-pop, their Eurovision entry swerves away from this. “What The Hell Just Happened?” is an amalgamation of multiple styles and tempos, combining upbeat verses with a slower anthemic chorus to showcase Remember Monday’s vocal harmonies.

Some fans have compared the song to Queen’s iconic “Bohemian Rhapsody” due to the way that it continuously mixes things up. Others have questioned its cohesion and lack of a solid hook.

The official announcement comes after multiple weeks of speculation. British tabloid The Sun previously broke the news of Remember Monday’s Eurovision participation at the start of February.

Snippets of “What The Hell Just Happened?” then began appearing on the internet during the days ahead of the BBC Radio 2 reveal.

Are you excited to finally have the UK act confirmed? What do you think of Remember Monday’s “What The Hell Just Happened?” Let us know in the comments below.
