Austria’s operatic Eurovision 2025 star JJ will perform at the London Eurovision Party 2025

Posted on 23 February 2025 By Admin No Comments on Austria’s operatic Eurovision 2025 star JJ will perform at the London Eurovision Party 2025

Guten Morgen Europa, and what a way to start the day than to let you know Austria’s wonderful Eurovision 2025 star JJ will be appearing at the London Eurovision Party 2025! The soprano opera star will perform his entry “Wasted Love” at LEP on Sunday 13th April 2025 at Here At Outernet for thousands of fans.

Whilst we don’t have JJ’s song for the contest yet, we’re sure you are as excited as we are to see him perform at Here at Outernet live soon!

Who is JJ?

Johanes Petsch (stage name JJ) was born in Vienna and then raised in Dubai. When he moved back to Austria in 2016, he honed his craft and later performed on Austria’ famous Starmania show. This is same show that brought us Conchita Wurst and even Eurovision 2023’s Teya and Salena, who competed in the same edition.

Now in a somewhat full circle moment, Teya has helped pen this song with JJ to go to Eurovision 2025. Whilst we don’t know too much about the song yet, we know that JJ is an opera-trained singer who is a countertenor, who can reach soprano notes. Also, when taking into account Teya’s involvement, there’s a chance it could have pop elements too. This is something JJ proved he can do on Starmania, with spectatcular performances of Sia’s “Chandelier” and Demi Lovato’s “Stone Cold”.

He currently performs at the Vienna State Opera, and was trained at the Music and Art Private University of Vienna. We can’t wait to see how he brings his trained style into a show like the Eurovision Song Contest, and indeed, the London Eurovision Party 2025!

What is the London Eurovision Party 2025?

The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom. It is also one of the biggest and most classic shows on the Eurovision pre-party tour. It’s been going from strength to strength over the years, and this year it celebrates it’s Sweet Sixteen edition in style at Here at Outernet in the UK capital, on April 13th.

Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London. It is known for it’s artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself. You can expect to see many more announcements coming very soon of 2025 acts, and past Eurovision favourites.

You can get your tickets for the show HERE. We have plenty more announcements to come, so stick around to find out more. This is a hugely popular show that typically sells out, so it’s time to get your tickets before they’re gone!
