North Macedonia’s 2021 entrant Vasil is a special guest at the London Eurovision Party 2025

Posted on 20 February 2025 By Admin No Comments on North Macedonia’s 2021 entrant Vasil is a special guest at the London Eurovision Party 2025

Good afternoon Europe, Skopje calling! We have a fresh new announcement for LEP 2025! We’re delighted to confirm North Macedonia’s 2020 & 2021 entrant Vasil will appear at the London Eurovision Party 2025 on April 13th.

Eurovision fans have missed North Macedonia in Eurovision so much since they left the contest after their participation in 2022. We can’t wait to bring back the Balkan nation’s vibes with Vasil at Here At Outernet to perform his entries “You” and “Here I Stand”. This will be the first time “You” is performed on a Eurovision stage!

Who is Vasil?

Vasil Garvanliev is a North Macedonian singer, from Strumica in the south-east of the country. He was internally selected by the Macedonian broadcaster in 2020 with his sultry entry “You”, a Latin-tinged modern number. This wasn’t the first time Vasil had tried to go to Eurovision, with him entering the selection back in 2007 with “Pomogni mi”, however it wasn’t to be just yet.

As we know in 2020, the contest was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Vasil was pushed back again, however the phoenix arose in 2021 when Vasil was chosen again by MRT with the drastically different anthemic ballad “Here I Stand”. The song harked to Broadway and West End drama, building through the song with huge vocals throughout. It was a celebration of Vasil finally getting his turn on the Eurovision stage. The performance was incredibly memorable with a mirror ball vest on his suit, creating reflecting effects to really fill the stage.

Known as one of the most kind, and delightful contestants in recent Eurovision alumni, we’re sure Eurovision fans cannot wait to welcome Vasil to his London Eurovision Party debut!

What is the London Eurovision Party 2025?

The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom. It is also one of the biggest and most classic shows on the Eurovision pre-party tour. It’s been going from strength to strength over the years, and this year it celebrates it’s Sweet Sixteen edition in style at Here at Outernet in the UK capital, on April 13th.

Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London. It is known for it’s artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself. You can expect to see many more announcements coming very soon of 2025 acts, and past Eurovision favourites.

You can get your tickets for the show HERE. We have plenty more announcements to come, so stick around to find out more. This is a hugely popular show that typically sells out, so it’s time to get your tickets before they’re gone!
