Posted on 4 February 2025 By Admin No Comments on Germany: 24 competing acts of Chefsache ESC 2025 revealed

Germany are going big this year. Broadcaster NDR is aiming for a win on its last participation at Eurovision, before SWR takes over in 2026. And now we know the list of artists the country will be choosing from, with 24 acts set to compete in Chefsache ESC 2025 – Wer singt für Deutschland?

Stefan Raab, Eurovision 2000 contestant and organiser of this year’s selection, had to choose from 3,281 applications. He and his team eventually managed to select the artists who will feature in the preliminary rounds.

Chefsache ESC 2025: Competing acts

  • Abor & Tynna
  • Adina
  • Benjamin Braatz
  • Cage

These 24 acts will initially perform for a jury — comprised of Raab himself, alongside actress Yvonne Catterfeld, presenter Elton, and guest jurors — during the first three rounds. In the grand final, it will be completely down to the public on who represents Germany at Eurovision 2025.

  • First Two Shows — 14 & 15 February

    • Each show will feature 12 acts.
    • 6–7 contestants from each show will advance to the semi-final.

    • Approximately 9 acts will move on to the grand final.
  • Grand Final — 1 March

    • The winner, determined exclusively by the audience, will represent Germany at Eurovision 2025.
