Poll results: Gåte (and KEiiNO) are our readers’ favourites to win Melodi Grand Prix 2024

Posted on 3 February 2024 By Admin No Comments on Poll results: Gåte (and KEiiNO) are our readers’ favourites to win Melodi Grand Prix 2024

They have been neck to (wolf)neck all along in both betting odds and amongst our readers, which amounted to quite a lot of votes when we asked, who your favourites were to win Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix 2024. And now the results are in.

It is folk-rock group Gåte and their Nordic anthem “Ulveham” that our readers want to see represent Norway in Eurovision in May, because they got 1,672 votes or 31.20% of the total votes.

Just a (wolf)length behind them are last poll winners KEiiNO with “Damdiggida” who collected 1,546 votes amounting to 28.85%. This means the two groups stacked up an impressive 60% of all the votes combined, which is something not seen very often in a poll with over 5,000 votes cast!

In third place Gothminister with “We Come Alive” got 449 votes or 8.38%, just edging out Eurovision alum Margaret Berger and “Oblivion” who came in fourth with 446 votes or 8.32% of the total votes.
