Poll results: Gåte heads the wolfpack in Norway’s MGP semi-final 2 qualification

Posted on 19 January 2024 By Admin No Comments on Poll results: Gåte heads the wolfpack in Norway’s MGP semi-final 2 qualification

Saturday evening the second semi-final of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix 2024 will take place in NRK studios in Oslo, where six songs battle it out for three qualifying places to the grand final 3 February.

We asked you readers to vote, who you wanted to qualify. And now, the results are in.

Gåte and a big robot are favourites to qualify

It is almost neck to (wolf)neck with the numbers for the three qualifiers in this semi-final, but out on top comes Gåte and their Nordic anthem “Ulveham” (meaning “wolf skin”) with 536 votes, which equals 26.15% of the total number of votes.

Right in their wolf tails in second place comes a 3 metre tall robot called Super Rob and his best friend Erika Norwich with “My AI” who got 479 votes or 23.37% of the total votes. Third place goes to Norwegian-Australian MILEO and “You’re Mine” with 436 votes or 21.27% of the total votes.

If only the Norwegians had a saying the result is a little different. Gåte is still the favourite amongst the local fans, but in second place we find Dag Erik Oksvold og Anne Fagermo – “Judge Tenderly of Me” with Super Rob & Erika Norwich in third place.
