On New Year’s Eve 2025 Eurovision fans could spend the entire day listening to the Eurovision Top 250 Countdown, known as ESC250.
The yearly poll sees fans pick their favourite 250 entries from the entire Eurovision back catalogue (that’s almost 70 years worth of songs).
And one year did no change! Queen Loreen kept her top two spots, while winning with her 2012 song “Euphoria” followed by her 2023 winning entry “Tattoo”. This was Loreen’s 12th win overall, as she also won every year from 2012 to 2021.
“Zjerm” by Albania’s Shkodra Elektronike took third place and is the highest entry from the current 2025 edition which meant one place down on the board for the ESC250 winners from 2022 and 2023 with Käärijä and “Cha Cha Cha” coming fourth while Chanel with “Slomo“ claiming fifth position.
Voting for ESC250 2025 — organised once again by Songfestival.be — took place earlier in the month, with Eurovision fans submitting points for their top 10 favourite songs from the contest’s history.
The results of the poll were revealed throughout New Year’s Eve, 31 December, on EFR12 Radio from 10:00 CET, with the #1 revealed around 22:50 CET.
