Sweden: SVT to present Melodifestivalen 2026 artists on Tuesday 2 December

SVT has scheduled the artist presentation for Melodifestivalen 2026 on Tuesday 2 December. The reveal will introduce the full line-up and song titles, and it marks the start of the countdown to the Swedish Eurovision selection for 2026.

Rumoured presenters

According to Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet, Gina Dirawi and Hampus Nessvold are set to host Melodifestivalen 2026, but SVT has not confirmed the presenters.

As always, Aftonbladet has also used its sources to put together a list of acts expected to compete — often highly accurate. They are:

As a reminder, last year’s winners were KAJ with “Bara bada bastu”. They represented Sweden at Eurovision 2025 and finished fourth in the grand final.
