Wiwi Wishlist: Lorè is our dream Eurovision pick for Albania

Posted on 19 November 2025 By Admin No Comments on Wiwi Wishlist: Lorè is our dream Eurovision pick for Albania

From her early beginnings on The Voice of Albania to becoming one of the most distinctive voices in the country’s pop scene, Lorè has been quietly carving her own lane.

After shining on Albania’s biggest stages — from Festivali i Këngës to Kënga Magjike — it feels like the Tirana-born artist is finally ready for the Eurovision spotlight.

Wiwi Wishlist: Lorè for Albania

From The Voice to Festivali i Këngës

Born Lorela Karoshi in 1996, Lorè first captured public attention on The Voice of Albania, where she joined Elton Deda’s team and impressed with her emotive delivery and natural musicality.

Her next chapter came at Festivali i Këngës, Albania’s historic national selection for Eurovision. She debuted at FiK 55 with the tender ballad “Me Ty”, delivering an intimate performance that highlighted her crystalline voice and heartfelt storytelling. Years later, she returned to the stage at FiK 61, this time in duet with Alban Kondi on the orchestral and cinematic “Melodi” — showing her growth and artistic maturity.

Those two entries cemented Lorè as an artist who values both melody and message — someone who connects emotion and craft in perfect balance.

Shining bright at Kënga Magjike

In 2024, Lorè’s star rose even higher when she triumphed at Kënga Magjike, taking home the Best New Artist award for “Për ne yjet ndizen lart” — a celestial, emotionally rich ballad that paired her airy vocals with cinematic production.

Now, in 2025, she’s back with “Amanet”, her latest entry for Kënga Magjike. Written by Alban Kondi and produced by Fabian Basha, “Amanet” marks a bold new chapter for Lorè — a dance-pop anthem with tribal influences that contrasts the softness of her previous hit.

The lyrics explore love and legacy, wrapped in hypnotic rhythm and vibrant production — proof that Lorè isn’t afraid to experiment while keeping her signature emotional depth.

A dream made for Eurovision

Beyond her discography, Lorè stands out for her creative independence. She writes, composes, and conceptualises her own music — aiming for authenticity over trends. In a recent conversation with wiwibloggs, she revealed that representing Albania at Eurovision is one of her biggest dreams.

And honestly, we can see it. With her mix of artistry, poise, and live experience, Lorè could easily give Albania another standout Eurovision moment — something heartfelt, cinematic, and unmistakably Albanian.

What’s next?

With “Amanet” showcasing her evolution into a confident, boundary-pushing pop artist, it feels like Lorè’s story is still unfolding. Whether her journey leads her back to Festivali i Këngës or onto the Eurovision stage itself, she’s an artist worth watching — one whose star is only rising higher.

What do you think? Would you like to see Lorè represent Albania at Eurovision? Which of her songs do you think captures her essence best? Let us know in the comments below!
