It’s that time of year when we’re desperate for our next Eurovision fix. And what better way to cope with those winter blues than to ponder which artists would be fantastic picks for their countries at Eurovision? Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing our top wishlist picks for each country at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The greatest thing about our wishlist is that there aren’t any rules. No “they would never do Eurovision!” No “but that wouldn’t be possible because…”. Not even a “but that country hasn’t participated in X number of years”.
Welcome to the Wiwi Wishlist, where we fantasize about the perfect artists for each country. Over the years dozens of our wishes have been granted. So what might the future hold? Let’s find out…
Wiwi Wishlist: Mikay for Greece
Mikay has built a reputation as one of Greece’s most promising artists. She grew up in Italy and went viral on TikTok with multilingual covers in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Greek, Italian, English, French and Spanish. This attracted attention far beyond her home country.
Recently signed to Minos EMI/Universal in Greece, she has developed her career through social media and live performances. She showcases a wide vocal range and an ability to shift between styles. With that voice and talent, a Eurovision entry wouldn’t be hard to imagine.
We reached out to Mikay directly about our dream to find out if it’s also hers. Speaking exclusively to Wiwibloggs, she said:
“I absolutely love the Eurovision Song Contest and have often pictured myself on that stage. It’s not a secret that I’d be thrilled to take part. We’re currently preparing a new song that I believe captures my sound and the spirit of the contest. It’s still in development and hasn’t been officially submitted yet. The possibility alone of representing Greece in Eurovision 2026 fills me with excitement, it would be a dream come true.”
Mikay just released her latest single “San Kapnos” earlier this month, and it’s a banger. Check it out below!

Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025
Whislt we are dreaming of our ultimate Greek Eurovision act, it’s worth pondering their magnificent result in Basel in May. Greece brought back a national final this year with Ethnikós Telikós — and with it immediate success.
Klavdia amazed viewers of Eurovision 2025 with her soaring ballad “Asteromata“. She had tough competition in the National Final, but she beat fan-favourite Evangelia for the opportunity to wave the Greek flag in Basel. The performance in Switzerland was visually arresting, and vocally perfect. Klavdia went on to place fourth in her semi-final and sixth in the Grand Final.
This was Greece’s best result since 2013’s effort “Alcohol Is Free” by Koza Mostra ft. Agathon Iakovidis. Whilst not necessarily predicted before the contest, it was certainly celebrated once Klavdia’s points came in.
So Mikay is our dream pick for Greece, but who would yours be? Who would you love to see take to the stage in Vienna in May 2026? Do you agree that Mikay could be The One for Greece? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
