The long-awaited moment has arrived. RTSH has officially confirmed the 28 artists who will compete at Festivali i Këngës 64, marking the beginning of Albania’s journey to Eurovision 2026. After receiving over one hundred submissions this year, a panel of music professionals has carefully narrowed the list to the chosen few who will take the stage in December. With the reveal, the excitement surrounding this historic festival reaches new heights.

For six decades, Festivali i Këngës has been more than a music competition. It is a cultural tradition, a celebration of creativity and identity that continues to shape Albania’s musical legacy. Now, as the 64th edition approaches, anticipation builds for what promises to be one of the most thrilling and unpredictable FiK seasons in years.

Each name brings a different sound, story and spirit, creating a lineup that captures the true diversity of Albanian music. But we should definitely mention that this lineup is below expectations of the Albanian fans!

Format & Voting

As with previous editions, Festivali i Këngës 64 will unfold across four spectacular nights, taking place from 17 to 20 December at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana. The program will include two semi-finals, a Nostalgia Night and the much-anticipated Grand Final, where Albania’s next Eurovision representative will be crowned.

Public votes via app will be added to the professional jury’s decision, allowing fans to take part in the outcome in real time. This new twist adds an exciting dynamic to the competition, as artists will need to impress not only the experts but also the public who will have a stronger voice than ever before.

The Road to FiK 64

The journey has officially begun, and RTSH has already mapped out an exciting timeline for fans:

  • Early November: The competing songs will be revealed on RTSH’s official channels, accompanied by short video teasers and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Late November: The running order and show details will be announced, including which artists will perform on which night.
  • 17–20 December: Tirana’s Palace of Congresses will host four unforgettable live shows, culminating in the Grand Final, where Albania’s representative for Eurovision 2026 will be chosen.

As always, Festivali i Këngës will feature both a jury vote and public voting, continuing the format introduced last year that brings the audience closer to the heart of the competition.

A Celebration of Albanian Music

With excitement growing by the minute, all eyes now turn to the stage. Soon, these artists will perform live, giving everything they have to win not only the FiK crown but also the chance to represent Albania in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The road ahead is uncertain, but one thing is clear: FiK 64 will once again remind us why music has the power to unite, inspire and surprise us all.
