Summer is the quiet period for Eurovision fans as we wait for the new season to commence. Thankfully, the music will always continue and a number of Eurovision artists are still producing new songs for us to enjoy.
Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.
Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.
New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 33
Sam Ryder – “Go Steady”
We start this week’s round-up with Sam Ryder, who in 2022 brought the United Kingdom one of its best results in recent years, finishing as runner-up — a success that helped bring Eurovision to Liverpool in 2023 following Ukraine’s victory. This week, Sam releases a song that serves as the soundtrack for a BBC series about the lives of wild animals and their young. “Go steady, you can take your time / You’re ready, it’ll all be fine / And whatever you face / There’s a bond you can’t break / I’ll love you… / And that’ll never change” — the heartfelt chorus highlights the unbreakable bond a parent feels for their child, sounding like a deeply personal confession. The track was recorded with a full orchestra, adding to its emotional weight.
Bambie Thug – “REDRUM”
Bambie represented Ireland in 2024. This week they released a brand-new “ouija-pop” track. Their unmistakable voice comes with strong lyrics, as the newest track is a protest song: “Pride is a protest/ Rise of the oppressed/ Pick a side are you peaceful or possessed/ Imitation game operation minced meat/ Algorithm making sure eyes don’t see/ It’s all quiet on the western front/ Doom scroll on your screens while they load the guns/ Casualties casually adding up in sum/ Arm the gay/ Arm the gays/ Armageddon.” This is the first single after Bambie signed with Spinefarm and UMPG.
About the song Bambie said:
“REDRUM is a masterclass, sonically and lyrically. Seeing the reaction it’s had live just emphasises to me how important the song is. It’s political, it’s anti-war, it’s a ‘rebel cry’ for the LGBTQIA community and for everyone who is fed up with living in this disconnected world. All I can offer to these turbulent times is my art and hope it wakes people up.”
Flo Rida feat. Cooper Alan & Shaylen – “Carrying the Club”
Flo Rida, the American superstar who teamed up with Senhit in 2021 to represent San Marino, is back this week with a new collaboration alongside American influencer Cooper Alan and Shaylen. Their latest release, “Carrying the Club”, is a high-energy party anthem that blends dance music with pop and a hint of country influences. With lyrics all about living it up, it’s the perfect reminder to make the most of the last days of summer.
KALUSH & BEREZA – “Бульбашки”
KALUSH, or Oleh Psiuk, competed and won Eurovision in 2022 for Ukraine as part of Kalush Orchestra. Oleh enjoyed collaborating with various Ukrainian artists even before Eurovision, but continued doing so even more after Kalush Orchestra’s victory, in order to promote more local talent. This week he collaborated with BEREZA on a track called “Bubbles”—an energetic pop-rap song that speaks about the bubbles in drinks. A music video will be released next week. In the meantime, Oleh is preparing for a Kalush Orchestra tour in over 80 cities across Ukraine this fall.
Jill Johnson – “F-Bomb”
Jill competed for Sweden in 1998. Recently in her music, she has been exploring the country music genre. The newest song is no exception — it’s a powerful revenge country track filled with power, savageness and rage, about a dysfunctional relationship that is on the verge of exploding, as Jill is no longer willing to be “hanging on a fantasy.” The song is perfect for any situation where you just want to raise a middle finger and leave: in love, at work, or on a social level in relation to today’s challenges… The song is universal.
About the song, Jill said:
“My ‘f*ck-off capital’ has increased over the years, which is a nice feeling. It’s impossible not to be affected by all the ‘F*ck-you’s’ in the world in troubled times, and the term F-Bomb stuck with me a while ago when Amir Aly and I were writing music. I thought about all the many times I should have put my foot down, or wanted to end some kind of love or work relationship but didn’t have the ‘guts’ to do so. The song not only contains all my ‘f*ck off capital’ but also reflects, if you like, world politics. It’s a song that just needed to come out.”
TVORCHI & The Maneken – “Одіссея”
Ukrainian duo TVORCHI competed in Eurovision back in 2023. Their newest track, “Odyssey,” is a collaboration with The Maneken. It’s a lovely retro-dance song, perfect for radio, and the music video takes you both on stage with TVORCHI and behind the scenes of the cover shoot.
The lyrics speak about an entire odyssey born from the love of two people, about peaceful moments in each other’s arms, about real love: “I drown in your arms / A scene like from a movie / I know you’re tired, because / We didn’t close our eyes all night / While you’re sleeping on my shoulder / Let the alarm clock continue to be silent / Just stay with me, don’t go / At least for a few hours.”
The duo added:
“The song ‘Odyssey’ embodies the mood of August – the last month of summer, which is so desirable and time flies by so quickly that you want to enjoy every second of it.”
TEYA – “Bourgeoisie”
TEYA represented Austria in Eurovision 2023 together with SALENA. She is also one of the composers behind “Wasted Love,” the winning song of this year’s Eurovision edition. Her newest pop track carries a very serious message, addressing the way artists are often overworked and underpaid. The lyrics say: “My creativity is a factory / They bleed me dry, it’s a tragedy / God gave me a gift, but you profit from it / Oh geez, oh please, I’m over it / Welcome to the bourgeoisie, baby please / You got the money, let it rain on me / Ba-bourgeoisie, baby please / You got the gun and I’m on my knees.” With her signature wit and sarcasm, TEYA delivers a sharp critique of the system, raising her voice to speak out about what countless independent artists are struggling with.
SALENA & Daniel Hopes – “I Would Do It Again”
We also have SALENA, who represented Austria in 2023 together with TEYA, bringing the duo back together—at least in the line-up of this week’s new releases playlist. Speaking of collaborations, this time SALENA teams up with Daniel Hopes. A touch of retro pop and R&B vibe is here to bless your playlist. The song is about “keep on walking on your broken heels,” a message about continuing your journey no matter the adversities, delivering a powerful statement on the challenges of the music industry, especially for independent artists.
Stefan Raab & Max Mutzke – “Bitte Lass Das Licht An”
The next song brings together two German Eurovision legends. Stefan, who competed in 2000 and is a familiar face in Germany’s national selection, joins forces with Max, who represented the country in 2004. Their latest collaboration, “Please Leave the Light On,” serves as the soundtrack for the film Das Kanu des Manitu (Manitu’s Canoe). Expect slow jazzy vibes blended with a touch of country, paired with strobe-lit visuals in the accompanying music video.
Ronnie Romero – “Backbone”
Ronnie was the main vocalist of Intelligent Music Project, the band that represented Bulgaria in 2022. Recently releasing songs on his own, this week he dropped yet another rock anthem for fans of authentic, raw rock. The song comes with a music video that amplifies its bold, dark vibe, while the lyrics speak about the power and the spark each of us carries inside: “Cause we listen to the sound/ Of the magic that we found inside our souls/ And a miracle is done.” This is also the title track of Ronnie’s upcoming album, set to drop in October.
The Busker – “my OH my”
Next on the list are The Busker, the lovely trio from Malta who competed in 2023. Their unique energy overflows in their newest release as well. The band worked on this track over the past month, and the summer vibe is absolutely contagious. With this song, they declare what’s left of the season a “Busker Summer.” Get ready to dance to a track that shows you how to make it work even when the sun doesn’t shine. It’s all about the mood, and this perfect summer radio song is your ultimate mood booster.
Blue Cafe – “Inna”
Blue Cafe competed for Poland in 2004. Get ready for a cool pop track paired with a savage, eye-catching music video. The song has that infectious pop sound with viral potential—something the Polish duo has achieved with previous releases. Its lyrics tell a story about change, independence, and starting a new chapter—the transformations we all go through under the influence of relationships, life events, age, and the cyclical nature of life.
Andrea, Caspar & E-BERG – “All That I Need”
Andrea represented North Macedonia in 2022. This week she collaborated with E-BERG on a track originally by Caspar, a musician from Singapore now based in Berlin, who invited Andrea to lay her vocals. The song will also be featured on Caspar’s upcoming album. Blending house music elements with soulful melodies, the result is a perfect banger.
Severina – “Pumpaj, Seve brate!”
Severina, the superstar who represented Croatia in Eurovision 2006, is back with her newest track, “Pump it, brothers!” The music video radiates retro vibes, while the song itself is a Balkan party anthem, blending folk influences perfectly with Severina’s iconic voice.
The track quickly turns savage, as Severina calls out a cheating man who won’t escape accountability: “You lied to me / Cheated and sold / But I just made stew / I was waiting for you (…) I swear to be faithful / You pushed my limits / Silk, gold promises / But you sold everything to a muggle.” The lyrics keep getting bolder and more playful, shaming him even more: “You’re a man, my dear / I should be the one wearing the skirt” or “Children, brothers, father, mother, you have disappointed everyone.” Severina delivers a Balkan-powered party song full of attitude, energy, and unapologetic sass.
Rambo Amadeus – “OFFLINE (Papa’s Got a Brand New Gadget)”
And this week’s round-up ends with Rambo, who represented Montenegro in 2012. He’s preparing a new English-language album, and this fun, sarcastic track will feature on it. The song tackles our obsession with gadgets and technology, with lines like “Papa got a brand new gadget, is this a microphone? / Papa got a brand new gadget, is this a gramophone? / Papa got a brand new gadget, is this a vibraphone? / Papa got a brand new gadget, is this a saxophone?” The following verses highlight the presence of smartphones and artificial intelligence in our daily lives, which is also reflected in the playful music video.
The track ends with a cheeky call to reconnect with reality: “Papa says we got to go offline! I was born OFFLINE, I get drunk offline, I make love offline, got the party offline.” With this song, Rambo mixes humor, sarcasm, and a catchy beat to remind us to enjoy the real world, one gadget-free moment at a time.
