New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 32
Joost, Scooter, & Paul Elstak – “Luv U More”
Joost, who represented the Netherlands at Eurovision 2024, is back this week with retro vibes and the iconic gabber style that defines his music. The track echoes the energy of his Eurovision entry, “Europapa,” and features collaborations with German eurodance legends Scooter and Dutch DJ Paul Elstak. It’s a re-recording of “Luv U More” by British techno group Sunscreem, originally released in 1992.
Lord Of The Lost – “OPVS NOIR Vol.1”
Lord Of The Lost, the legendary German rock band who took part in Eurovision 2023, return this week with a brand new album that’s an ultimate rock classic. The record features 11 tracks, including previously released singles that instantly won fans’ hearts, such as “My Sanctuary”, “I Will Die In It”, and “Ghosts”. It delivers darkness and power, a wide range of emotions, and impressive vocals.
Opening the album is “Bazaar Bizarre”, accompanied by a brand new music video that keeps the unmistakable Lord Of The Lost vibe. Parts of the clip were filmed on the famous Isla de las Muñecas in Xochimilco, Mexico — also known as Island of the Dolls — a renowned dark tourism destination that houses the world’s largest collection of haunted dolls.
Jérémie Makiese – “Vida”
Jérémie, who competed for Belgium in 2022, is back with a summer tune you’ll want on your playlist. His newest release is definitely a party starter, paired with a video that combines the song’s lyrics with a self-made music clip that takes you behind the scenes. Get ready for the best summer energy!
alyona alyona & YETUNDEY – “Hurt People”
Back in 2024, alyona alyona represented Ukraine together with Jerry Heil. This week, the Ukrainian rapper teams up with YETYNDEY for a deeply moving release. The track blends German and Ukrainian, with two powerful voices delivering an honest, raw, and empowering performance. It raises thought-provoking questions: “Who has hurt others out of their own pain? Do we recognise when someone is simply being mean, or when they are truly hurting? And how do we, ourselves, deal with anger?”
Malik Harris – “Lawiya”
Malik, who represented Germany in 2022, is ready to bring you a summer hit that will add sunshine to your playlist no matter the weather outside. While working on the upcoming video for the track, Malik had to brave the cold German weather—but the result promises to be as bright and hot as the song itself. It’s a love-pop summer tune that makes you move instinctively, and it will feature on Malik’s upcoming album, PLAIN SIGHTS, set for release in September.
Charlotte Perrelli & Angelo Perrelli – “More Than Words”
Charlotte won Eurovision for Sweden in 1999 and returned to represent her country again in 2008. This week’s collaboration is especially meaningful for her, as she teams up with her son, Angelo, for a duet. The track is a cover of Extreme’s “More Than Words”, originally released in 1990. Charlotte shared how happy she is that her son has chosen to follow a musical path, already releasing his own songs, and now joining her for this duet—an experience that left her deeply impressed and proud.
“Happy Releaseday!! Today Angelo and I are releasing our first song together since we became adults. Incredibly fun.. I’m so impressed by him. He sits at home and plays the piano and sings. Has no ambition at all to do music. But, he has a pleasant voice and is very talented. He has recorded songs with me since he was 4 years old…. Released his ‘own’ song a few months ago and now we are releasing a duet again. The last time was when he was 4 years old. There have been a few different entries on my records over the years. I’m grateful that he wants to and that he thinks this is fun! Love you to the moon and Back Angelo! Congratulations to me for having you!”
Bad Wolves feat. The Rasmus – “Say It Again”
The Rasmus, who represented Finland in 2022, have teamed up this week with the American heavy metal band Bad Wolves for an electrifying new track. The lyric video has a futuristic touch, featuring robots and artificial intelligence. The lyrics explore questions about the meaning of life—whether it truly holds significance or is just a phase we pass through: “Say it / Say it again / Don’t pretend we still believe in something / We’ll figure it out on the other side / Wonder what kind of spell I’m under / What the hell would I die for / Sticking around just to say goodbye.”
Guy Sebastian – “100 Times Around The Sun”
Guy Sebastian, Australia’s very first Eurovision representative back in 2015, has just released a brand new album featuring 13 tracks. The record opens with “Maybe,” a pop anthem about how good things come to those who wait—just like this album, carefully crafted to blend a variety of vibes and emotions. If you’re in the mood for a sentimental ballad, “No Reason To Stay” is the one to press play on. One of the most emotional moments comes with “Strangers,” a song about drifting apart from people who once felt like home, where Guy’s heartfelt vocals are sure to stir something deep inside. It’s hard to recommend just one track, though—the whole album is an experience in itself. The collection also includes two notable collaborations: Sam Fischer on “Antidote” and Riley Biederer on “See You There.”
When releasing the album, Guy posted on his social media:
“Today my album, 100 Times Around The Sun, is out in the wild! I hope you can say that you’d do your 100 times around the sun with the ones you’re with right now. Keep those ones close! Nothing else really matters. This album was made all over the world and I’m really proud of it. I’ve given everything I could have given to this record, and I hope you find a song or two in there that ends up meaning something to you, and maybe even one that sets you free a little bit. Enjoy… It’s all yours.”
Mike Tramp – “Fight To Survive”
Mike, who represented Denmark in 1978 as part of the band Mabel, is also widely known for his role in the legendary rock band White Lion. In recent years, he has been revisiting and re-recording some of the band’s most iconic tracks, each time adding a fresh twist. This week’s release is “Fight to Survive,” originally the title track of White Lion’s 1985 debut album.
Donny Montell – “Šviesa Tamsoje”
Donny, who represented Lithuania twice—in 2012 and 2016—is back with a new track called “Light in the Darkness.” Addressing themes of bullying, the track resonates deeply with anyone who has experienced it. The song features a cool retro dance vibe and is accompanied by a cinematic black-and-white music video that explores overcoming limits and the harsh realities of a superficial world. About the music video Donny said:
“Sometimes darkness is necessary to see the light. It is a cinematic story – a naked, scarred man confronted by a screaming, laughing crowd. This image is like a metaphor for what everyone goes through when they are the target of bullying, psychological violence or anonymous comments.”
Connect-R, Alex Velea, Smiley – “Combinația”
Connect-R, the Romanian artist who competed for Moldova in 2006 alongside Arsenium and Natalia, continues his collaborative project with fellow artists and long-time friends Alex Velea and Smiley. This week’s summerish and fun release is called “The Combination.” The lyrics are light-hearted yet intense, celebrating the perfect kiss: “I’d like to kiss you / Just the way you like / More and more / And I like it too / My mouth and yours / That’s the combination.”
The song comes with a music video with bold visuals that bring even more energy to the track, while the musical chemistry between the three artists is present all along the way.
3JS & Rowwen Hèze – “Neem Er Nog Een”
Back in 2011, 3JS represented the Netherlands. This week, they teamed up with the band Rowwen Hèze for the track “Take Another One,” a drinking anthem perfect for summer parties. The song carries a folk vibe and comes with a colourful lyric video. Its lyrics encourage everyone to raise one more drink and celebrate the moment we share today. The song has a classic vibe while also a potential of being a summer radio banger, bringing back the best of the retro vibes.
Lost Gallery feat. EMMY – “Everytime We Touch”
EMMY, the Norwegian artist who represented Ireland in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, has teamed up with Lost Gallery to release a timeless cover of “Everytime We Touch.” Originally performed by the German trio Cascada, who represented their country in Eurovision 2013, EMMY’s version is a much more intimate acoustic take that perfectly highlights her voice.
Senhit – “Invincibile Estate”
Senhit has represented San Marino twice at Eurovision — first in 2011 and then returning in 2021 alongside the internationally renowned artist Flo Rida. Her newest song, “Invincible Summer,” is a summer anthem in Italian that radiates vibrant European summer vibes—a serenade of colour and energy. The track also serves as the theme song for Senhit’s new video podcast of the same name.
Besa – “Alina”
And this week’s line-up ends with Besa, who represented Albania last year. She delivers a banger infused with traditional Albanian influences. Love, pain, raw emotions, and Besa’s captivating voice come together in a track that can mend any heart. Perfect for summer, the song carries a sensual aura with touches of Latin influences, making the whole recipe even more addictive.
