The Ukrainian singer NANAVA surprises again: after releasing the original version of the song “LA LA”, which has become a symbol of pure and right relationships, the artist returns with a completely new interpretation of the hit – in the style of traditional Georgian music to a very interesting and familiar melody.
This unexpected transformation is not just a stylistic experiment. It’s a personal confession, a return to her roots and a tribute to the culture that NANAVA carries in her heart. She reveals her Georgian side to her listeners – with its emotional depth, mountain strength and melancholic tenderness. The new version of “LA LA” has not only a familiar melody, but also a completely different energy: it is no longer just about love, but about identity, memory and the connection between generations.

“I wanted to show that love is not just a story between two people. It’s music that is passed down with blood, with a song, with the voice of my grandmother, which I heard as a child. It’s LA LA – but now it speaks with a Georgian soul,” the singer admits.
And if you thought you already knew this song, listen again. It sounds completely different now.
We managed to find out who NANAVA is and where her career began: “Thanks to the Voice of Romania, today I can fulfill my dream of starting my solo career. It was my voice coach Irina Rimes (DJ Sava feat. Irina Rimes – I Loved You (Official Video) – YouTube) advised me to contact her Ukrainian friends, producer Volodymyr Kaharlyk, aka singer Foley and songwriter Inga Kaharlyk, who collaborated with her back in the age of 21. At the time, Inga was undergoing rehabilitation and stayed with Iryna and was happy to support me on my voice. After the show, I was in a hurry to go to the studio in Kyiv to meet Vova personally, and that’s when we created the first song for my solo project NANAVA.”
Today, NANAVA’s songs “Oh I know”, “We are on a first name basis”, “Hours cry” and others have already conquered Ukrainian radio stations and found their audience.
