The Eurovision 2025 season is now in full swing and no doubt fans will have the songs from this year’s contest on repeat until we crown a winner in May. But that doesn’t mean we forget about the artists from past contests – they’re still bringing us a lot of new music to enjoy.
Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.
Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.
New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 19 part 2
With so many new songs this week, we’ve split the roundup into two smaller articles. You can find part 1 here.
BLANCO – “Piangere a 90”
We open the second half of this week’s round-up with a song from BLANCO, who represented Italy in 2022 alongside Mahmood. The track is a delicate pop ballad. In the lyrics, he struggles with the contrast between his on-stage persona and his off-stage self, while the song unfolds as a meditation on the passage of life and destiny: “I’m tired, I’m Riccardo, I’m in a hurry / My mom’s at home waiting for me / I’m Blanco, I’ve even been to the top / I’ve touched the sky and my finger gets cold.” Poetically, the lyrics reflect on love, time, and the irreversible nature of one’s heart: “You can’t redo your heart like you redo your lips / And you called me a taxi, an ambulance arrived.”
KEiiNO – “Unstoppable”
KEiiNO, the fan-favorite trio who represented Norway at Eurovision 2019, are back with a powerful new release—the very song they teased a few weeks ago at London’s Eurovision pre-party. The accompanying music video reinforces that KEiiNO are truly unstoppable, both on stage and in everyday life, as they conquer literal mountaintops—symbolizing their strength and determination. The video also beautifully highlights the deep friendship and connection between the trio, making this release feel both personal and empowering.
About the message behind the song, the group said:
Our 40th single is a tribute to the friends who lift us when the climb feels steep—and to the power of not giving up. This one was born from a Nordic dream team across Oslo, Helsinki and Stockholm. We couldn’t have done it without YOU.
Marcus & Martinus – “Endless Summer”
Marcus and Martinus represented Sweden last year, and as they prepare to conquer Europe with an upcoming tour at the beginning of next year, they’ve just dropped a lyric video for their latest summer anthem. Dressed in light blue, the duo vibes to the addictive pop track while singing about a love that feels like an endless summer. They’ve already debuted the song on German TV at ZDF-Fernsehgarten 2025, where 1,000 people danced along. Get ready to join them!
Chanel – “Antillas”
Chanel, Spain’s Eurovision queen who became iconic after her 2022 performance, is now stepping into a bold new musical era—one marked by even more confidence and irresistibly catchy tunes. Her latest release, “Antilles”, showcases the signature style that made her famous, now even more refined and powerful. Fans are eagerly anticipating a music video that will no doubt highlight Chanel’s impressive dance skills. With lyrics about opening every door and walking with unshakable confidence, the song has all the ingredients of a summer hit.
TIX & Kulturaftern feat. Krobbe – “SCANDIHOE”
TIX, who represented Norway at Eurovision in 2021, is back this week with a track that brings Norway and Sweden even closer together. The song is a collaboration with Kulturaftern and Krobbe, both friends and creative partners of TIX. With a title that needs no further explanation, the track is an electrifying dance anthem that’s already been a fan favorite at shows making the fans go crazy —something TIX has proudly showcased on his Instagram. After teasing it in live performances, fans have been eagerly awaiting the official audio release, and now it’s finally here.
Vaidas Baumila – Vienodai žydi sodai
Vaidas made Lithuania proud in 2015 when he competed in Eurovision as part of a duet with Monika Linkytė. This week, he returns with a full-length album titled Gardens Bloom the Same. Featuring 10 tracks, all in Lithuanian, the album brings alternative pop back into the spotlight, infused with retro dance influences. Fan favorites such as “Marozika,” “Gėlė,” and “Gniaužiu” (“Pinch”)—a collaboration with Rūta Loop, a familiar face in Lithuania’s national Eurovision selections—are also included. While each song has its own unique charm, the title track “Vienodai žydi sodai” (“Gardens Bloom the Same”) stands out with its funky retro vibe, making it truly unforgettable.
Vaidas described the album as:
“Love, smoke and old things – it’s all there, among the pillars and cherries, poplars and other trees and shrubs! (…) For me, they (the gardens) bloom in different colors, different moods, different stories, which I put into this album. EQUALLY – because we can all find something for ourselves, something similar experienced in the same way in this 10-song album. EQUALLY – because I believe you and I come to a point in life when it no longer matters who thinks what or who we have to like or fit in with when telling our story.”
Karolina Gočeva – “Mog Života Dio”
Karolina, who represented North Macedonia at Eurovision in 2007, returns with a powerful new track titled “Part of My Life.” This emotionally charged ballad feels like a raw letter to someone who is an important part of one’s life, capturing themes of love and confusion. Accompanied by a classy, retro-inspired music video, the song beautifully showcases the depth and strength of Karolina’s voice. Having recorded it a year ago, Karolina has expressed her deep connection to the track from the start—and now, its time to shine has finally come.
Intars Busulis – “Cik Labi”
Intars, who represented Latvia in Eurovision 2009, is back with a dynamic new track titled “How Good.” The song begins as a heartfelt ballad and gradually evolves into an energetic dance tune. Lyrically, it reflects on how life can often feel chaotic and full of inconveniences—but despite it all, finding that one person who brings peace and meaning makes everything worthwhile: “How good / That I found you / I wait for you at home every evening.”
About his newest release Intars said:
It is very popular right now to look for and highlight the negative, but I really manage to find moments and that unique feeling that occurs when everything is in its place more and more often.
Yianna Terzi – “HORIS ANASA”
Yianna, who represented Greece at Eurovision in 2018, returns with a stunning new ballad titled “Breathless.” And breathless is exactly how her unique, tender voice leaves us. Her vocals guide listeners through an emotional journey, while the orchestration transports us straight to Greece. The song is both heartbreaking and poetic: “I break my heart into pieces, / But I make it up to love / Now I ask for your eyes, / To look at the sky a little.” Yet, amid the sorrow, Yianna’s lyrics still shine with resilience and hope: “But I won’t betray myself / I won’t give up / Not even a little bit of me.”
About the song, Yianna confessed:
We wrote this song out of our need for a restart and change. Things happen around us that normalize apathy within us. We get used to situations and images that the heart and eyes shouldn’t be able to bear.
Laura Voutilainen – “Leijonaemo”
Laura, the Finnish music legend who made Finland proud at Eurovision in 2002, is back with a powerful new track titled “Lioness.” Bursting with energy, joy, and fierce confidence, the song captures the strength and grace of a mother—like a lioness protecting her cubs. At its heart, “Lioness” is a tribute to motherhood, exploring the deep emotions of nurturing and protecting your children while quietly facing the bittersweet ache of the empty nest:
About the song, Laura said:
When my children flew off in their own directions and away from our broken home, it seemed too early. The youngest was still well under twenty. Not yet, I’m not ready!
I have missed little children so much, and that everyday life, even though it of course has its own challenges. Who wouldn’t. While missing them, I have wondered if I was a good enough mother.
Now that they are adults, and I see them growing into “wise miracles of their own”, I want to be a mother who is there when needed, a Lioness who still defends but still sees many sides of things, encourages and is a good conversationalist. I want to live a life where I can live as functionally as possible for a long time in their support group, and let them live their own lives as fully as possible.
Luka & Sandro Silva – “Motivation”
Luka, who was the lead vocalist for Hooverphonic when they were set to represent Belgium at Eurovision 2020, is now forging her own path as a solo artist. This week, she teams up with Dutch DJ Sandro Silva for a high-energy collaboration that blends EDM club vibes with Luka’s signature soft vocals. The track channels the power of resilience, turning negativity into fuel for success: “I know you’re waiting / To see me falling / But you motivate me / To prove you wrong.”
Red Moon & Francesca Guccione – “Eurydice”
Red Moon is the stage name of Debrah Scarlett, who represented Norway in Eurovision 2015 alongside Mørland. This week, she returns with a hauntingly beautiful tribute to Jóhann Jóhannsson’s “Orphée.” Collaborating with Italian composer Francesca Guccione, Debrah offers a new interpretation of the iconic work—infusing it with a female perspective on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. The result is a delicate and deeply emotional homage that reimagines the classic tale through a modern, ethereal lens.
Debrah explained the story of the song:
We wanted to stay true to Jóhann’s vision while exploring the myth through Eurydice’s voice. It’s hard to grasp someone following you into the underworld just to bring you back. Even though it’s a myth, that longing is something we can all understand. But Eurydice, in our version, isn’t asking to be saved, she’s giving a final gift. She wants Orpheus to return to life and carry their love forward.
Ghetto Geasy feat. Arilena Ara – “XHELOZIA”
Arilena Ara was set to represent Albania in 2020, but the contest was unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic. This week, she teams up with Ghetto Geasy to release “Jealousy”, a high-energy track infused with traditional sounds that will get you moving instantly. As the title suggests, the song explores jealousy in all its shades. Ghetto Geasy shows why he’s a standout in the rap scene, while Arilena’s powerful vocals complete the track perfectly. With her rising success, Eurovision fans still hope to see her grace the big stage again someday.
Hooverphonic & Barbara Dex
his week brings a new episode of the beloved Belgian show Liefde voor Muziek on VTM, featuring two Eurovision icons: Hooverphonic (Belgium 2020 and 2021) and Barbara Dex (Belgium 1993). The spotlight this time is on the music of Kids With Buns, the acclaimed indie duo from Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, formed by Marie Van Uytvanck and Amber Piddington.
Hooverphonic chose to cover “Clutter,” originally released in English, in 2023. Keeping the lyrics intact, the band reimagined the track with their signature trip-hop sound, reminiscent of their early albums. Lead singer Geike revealed that the song felt deeply personal—almost as if it had been written for her—adding even more emotional impact to the performance.
Barbara Dex, meanwhile, opted for a ballad this week, she covered “What Happens In Your Brain,“ also originally released in 2023. She dedicated her heartfelt version to the women. The song is diving into themes of emotional confusion and lingering questions from the perspective of someone left behind—unable to let go and move forward.
Elena Ionescu – “Ce Zici, Baby?”
Elena Ionescu, who represented Romania in Eurovision 2012 as the lead vocalist of the Latin-infused band Mandinga, continues to shine in her solo career. This week, she drops a vibrant new single titled “What You Say, Baby?”—a feel-good anthem perfect for the summer season. Brimming with sunny vibes, the track is all about embracing life, travel, and carefree joy under the sun: “What you say, baby? / Yalla Yalla / You love spending so much / On holidays in Tuscany / (…) We only live once / Let’s give it color / Let’s have only sunny days.” Elena is clearly ready for summer—and she’s bringing the party with her.
Vlado Kalember & Srebrna Krila – “Ako sve to nije ljubav”
Vlado, the legendary Croatian singer who represented Yugoslavia twice—first in 1984 in a duet with Ida, and again in 1988 as part of the band Srebrna Krila—returns with a vibrant new track titled “If All This Ain’t Love.” The song is a retro-tinged, high-energy ode to the enduring power of love, brimming with nostalgia and charm. It’s the perfect energy booster to wrap up this week’s round-up, as we prepare ourselves to step into the Eurovision week while also gear up for even more exciting releases from beloved former contestants.
