Red Sebastian’s Eurovision 2025 creative team includes those behind Gustaph and Duncan Laurence

Belgium’s Eurovision 2025 hero Red Sebastian has left Brussels for Basel. With that, Flemish broadcaster VRT shared some details for the “Strobe Lights” singer’s performance. Yves Ruth and Hans Pannecoucke will direct the Belgian stage show.

Red Sebastian and his team left the Belgian capital Brussels in style on Saturday morning. Dressed in red as always, the singer told fans, press and friends goodbye in front of a brightly red bus stickered with his face.

With it, the Belgian delegation gave out an online booklet with some prime information. Among the material wiwibloggs obtained, we could read that Yves Ruth and Hans Pannecoucke will direct Red Sebastian’s performance.

Next to that, the performance will feature three dancers – Bruno De Rouck, Goran Tourenne and Hugo Gebbia – and one backing vocalist – Lani Pellegrini.

This is almost the same creative team as Gustaph had two years ago, when he finished seventh overall with “Because of You”. Given that Gustaph previously taught Red Sebastian vocal classes, it’s not too surprising that they will also share a similar creative team.

Previously, Hans Pannecoucke was also involved in directing the efforts for the Netherlands and Spain — with differing results. In 2019, together with Ignace D’Haese, who will also do lighting for Red Sebastian, he directed Duncan Laurence’s performance for “Arcade”.

Are you excited for Red Sebastian’s performance? What are you expect from it? Let us know in the comments below!
