Lviv Fashion Day will take place on May 11, 2025 at Park. Art of Rest with the support of the Ukrainian Fashion Association.
Lviv Fashion Day is a landmark fashion event that emphasizes the status of Lviv as the European capital of Ukraine. It is an event that brings together Ukrainian designers and models from different regions of Ukraine, fashion enthusiasts and media to popularize contemporary Ukrainian fashion.
As part of Lviv Fashion Day, the Lviv Fashion Awards ceremony will be held to honor the best representatives of the fashion industry in the Lviv region. The award is given for professional and creative achievements, as well as for contribution to the development of the fashion industry in the Lviv region.
The Lviv Fashion Day advertising campaign features a collection by Ukrainian designer AKEL Couture called The Triumph, an ode to the hope, strength and indomitable spirit of the Ukrainian people. Inspired by the will to live, thirst for freedom and unwavering belief in victory, this collection has become a symbol of light conquering darkness.
Each image is a gentle breath of elegance: pure white silhouettes are decorated with golden flounces that gracefully emphasize the shape and add movement, sophistication and femininity. Lightweight fabrics, delicate lace and noble golden taffeta create a harmonious combination of simplicity and luxury.
White, the main color of the collection, symbolizes purity, peace and the beginning of a new life. It carries calmness and inner strength, reminding us that light always finds its way, even through the thickest darkness. Gold – a symbol of victory, dignity and triumph – adds solemnity and depth to the images.
The advertising campaign was shot in one of the most elegant places in Lviv – the House of Scientists, which became the perfect place for exquisite images inspired by the Ukrainian spirit and the desire for victory. The architecture of this historic space complemented the style and grandeur of the collection, creating an atmosphere of solemnity and high fashion.
The official faces of Lviv Fashion Day were professional young models of the Babyphotostars production center, as well as new faces of Ukrainian modeling, who will take to the catwalk on May 11, surprising the audience with their skills and charisma. Babyphotostars is a new vision of the Ukrainian fashion world, which is becoming more and more recognizable in the international arena every year.
“Fashion is not just about fabrics, colors and silhouettes. It is the stories we tell through our collections, our attitude to the world and to ourselves. Fashion does not stand still. It is always moving forward, changing people and the world around them. We want Lviv Fashion Day to be a platform for creative individuals who are not afraid to change the established rules and believe in the power of fashion as a tool for change,” says Zoryana Semeniuk, event organizer.
The musical headliner of the event will be Anna Dobrydneva, a singer, songwriter, author of official soundtracks for films and TV series, radio host and volunteer, who has given more than 350 charity concerts since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, including at the front line. The musical guest of the event will be Amador Lopez, a man with a Latin American heart and a Ukrainian soul, a carnival man.
Lviv Professional College of Beauty and Fashion Industry and Lviv Vocational College of Fashion Industry will be the partners of the event.
Lviv Fashion Day is not just an event, it is a story about fashion in the heart of Europe.
