Azerbaijan selected their representatives through an internal selection process. Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2025: Mamagama with “Run With U”
The members of Mamagama—vocalist Asaf Mishiyev, guitarist Hasan Heydar, and drummer Arif Imanov—all hail from Baku. The band was formed in 2021 and quickly gained recognition for their unique fusion of rock, pop, and traditional Azerbaijani music.
Vocalist Asaf Mishiyev first gained public attention when he participated in the 2020 season of The Voice. In 2022, Mamagama took part in Kënga Magjike, one of Albania’s premier music festivals, where they won the “International Artist” award with their performance of “Dreamer.”
That same year, they also applied to represent Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Although they made it to the final selection round as one of the five shortlisted acts, the country ultimately chose TuralTuranX to represent Azerbaijan in Liverpool.
