House of Helvetia x Wiwibloggs: Celebrate the stars of Eurovision 2025 at our Basel fan event

The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is headed to Basel and so are many of you. As part of the festivities, we’re pleased to invite you to the House of Helvetia where, for one week, we’ll be celebrating the stars of Eurovision 2025 and their fans in partnership with leading Swiss insurer Helvetia.

House of Helvetia x Wiwibloggs: Our Eurovision 2025 fan event in Basel

Helvetia provides its customers with advice on all questions relating to insurance and pensions. They help people deal with important life decisions every single day, but they also know how to let their hair down. They’ve kindly opened their stunning Basel campus to us and all of you.

As in Liverpool and Malmö, we’ve dreamed up a space where you can get up close and personal with your favourite song contest stars. Interviews, meet-and-greets, live performances, panel discussions — we’ve got you covered during your stay in Basel.

As always there is no admission fee and everyone is welcome. Just bring your questions, your cameras, and your appetites — Helvetia is already revving up the food trucks.

The event will run in the afternoons from Saturday 10 May until Saturday 17 May.

Please note: out of respect for artists, we will not hold any sessions on Sunday 11 May. Acts will be busy prepping for the red carpet and Opening Ceremony.

About the Helvetia campus

Helvetia’s Basel campus is very well located: It’s just a 10-minute walk from the main station and a 10-minute walk from the city centre. It sits exactly between the Eurovision Village (12 minutes away by tram) and the Eurovision 2025 arena St. Jakobshalle (7 minutes by tram).

The nearby St. Alban area is an upscale residential district where you’ll walk past gorgeous villas and Gothic and baroque merchant’s houses. You’ve probably seen its narrow, winding streets and historical buildings online. Among them is the St. Alban-Tor (St.Alban’s Gate), dating back to around 1400. It was part of the fortifications of the old walled city and is now a gateway to the city’s medieval history.

Aeschenplatz is another adjoining area. It’s known for its bustling square, lively atmosphere and the iconic “Botta building.” Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

What else can you see? The gorgeous auditorium where we’ll be hosting performances, interviews and fan meet-and-greets. Check it out above.

More details coming soon. As for now, who do you want to see at the House of Helvetia? Let us know down below. And relive last year’s event in the footage below.
