Lithuania’s indie icons Katarsis will rock the London Eurovision Party 2025

Posted on 12 March 2025 By Admin No Comments on Lithuania’s indie icons Katarsis will rock the London Eurovision Party 2025

Alt/indie fans, unite! We are delighted to announce Lithuania’s Katarsis will bring their moody yet brilliant Eurovision 2025 entry “Tavo Akys” to the London Eurovision Party 2025. As arguably the only rock entry in the whole of the year (unless France or Georgia surprise us), we’re sure many of you will be thrilled at their performance!

Don’t forget that is you want to see Katarsis among many other incredible acts at LEP 2025, such as Erika Vikman, Miriana Conte, and JJ, you can get your tickets for the legenadry pre-party here!

Who are Katarsis?

Katarsis come from the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius. They are a post-punk and dark alternative band, with sounds reminiscent of Radiohead. Many fans are comparing their style to cult-classics Sudden Lights from 2023 (representing Latvia). The band is made up of Lukas Radzevičius (vocals), Alanas Brasas (guitar), Emilija Kandratavičiūtė (bass guitar), and Jokūbas Andriulis (drums). Lukas is the sole songwriter fo their Eurovision entry “Tavo Akys” (“Your Eyes”).

They participated in Lithuanian national final Eurovisija.lt and were a huge favourite immediately. On the night of the final they were the big bookie’s favourite, and they lived up to this promise winning the full 12 points from the public, and the jury. They beat runner up Lion Ceccah by over 4500 votes in the super final, cementing their ticket to Eurovision 2025 in Basel!

What is the London Eurovision Party 2025?

The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom. It is also one of the biggest and most classic shows on the Eurovision pre-party tour. It’s been going from strength to strength over the years, and this year it celebrates it’s Sweet Sixteen edition in style at Here at Outernet in the UK capital, on April 13th.

Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London. It is known for it’s artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself. You can expect to see more announcements coming very soon of 2025 acts, and past Eurovision favourites.
