DEN BAURIN became one of those who had a chance to represent the country of San Marino at the legendary song contest this year. The artist admitted that it was quite spontaneous for him to receive such an offer.
The DEN BAURIN project has been around for years, but the artist reached a new level of popularity when he performed at the Rendezvous with Lima Vaikule with the song “Play, Music, Play”. After that, the singer toured the United States with well-known Ukrainian artists such as Iryna Bilyk, Alina Grosu, Alekseev and others.

“I’ve been living in Budapest for the last few years. When I was told that I had to go to San Marino for the selection, I panicked a bit. I had a few days to prepare my room, costumes, and even get to another country.
Despite the fact that San Marino is one of the smallest countries in Europe, according to Baurin, there were more than two dozen people who wanted to represent it at the legendary Eurovision Song Contest.
Artists, artists, music bands, large groups that came right away with their show ballet. The participants came not only from Italy, but also from Switzerland and France. There were also some very famous Italian singers, given how much media attention they received and how local journalists were chasing them. Some people came to the audition, saw how many competitors they had, and turned around and left. And a lot of participants performed online, as far as I know, including Ukrainian artists,” comments Baurin.
DEN BAURIN performed two of his songs at once: “Freelove”, which is not yet available on music platforms, and ‘Moonlight’, a track that is already being played on radio stations in the United States, Brazil, Italy, Malaysia and other countries. The music video was shortlisted for European film festivals.
In addition to Baurin, Ukrainian singer Grisana and artist Teslenko participated in the national selection from San Marino.
Now all the participants are eagerly awaiting the results, which, according to the organizers, should be announced any day now.
