Nina Zizic confirmed as Montenegro’s Eurovision 2025 singer with “Dobrodošli”

See you in Basel, Nina Zizic!

On Sunday Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG confirmed that Nina will replace NeonoeN as the country’s Eurovision 2025 singer. She’ll perform “Dobrodošli,” which translates to “Welcome.” And she is most definitely welcome.

It’s been a circuitous route back to the song contest for the Eurovision 2013 alum.

At the end of November Nina finished second at Montesong 2024, losing to NeonoeN by just one point. That’s despite topping the televote and coming fourth with the public.

It soon emerged, however, that NeonoeN had performed their song “Clickbait” prior to September 1, thereby breaching EBU rules. RTCG consulted with the EBU about what to do and the band said they would accept their fate. But in the end the four-piece rock group decided to pull the plug on the Eurodrama themselves and withdrew.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, the official Montesong account wished Nina luck and told her to celebrate and laugh, adding: “Preparations begin soon. The next stop is Basel!”

We do hope there will be some stops at the pre-parties in between, including the London Eurovision Party on 13 April 2025.

Are you excited that Nina will fly the Montenegrin flag in May? Let us know down below!
