The season of national finals is underway – and we’re not just talking about Montenegro, Latvia and Albania. Sweden, host country of Eurovision 2024, is ready to get the glitter ball rolling with perhaps the biggest national final on the continent: Melodifestivalen. It will take place across six cities in February and March 2025.
Among next year’s acts are no less than three former winners in Måns Zelmerlöw (who is also a Eurovision winner), John Lundvik and Arvingarna, as well as two other Melfest winners on the songwriting side in Loreen and Tusse. They join other returning artists such as Klara Hammarström, Dolly Style and Scarlet as well as 17 debuting artists in the competition.
Our Tobias is on-the-ground with his camera locked and loaded. We will get you some short interviews with some of the acts and post them across our platforms during the afternoon.
