Ukrainian singer Yuliya Lutsenko has released a new song titled “Birdie”, which is dedicated to Ukrainian women forced to leave their homes due to the full-scale invasion. This song embodies the deep emotions, the pain of separation, and the indomitable spirit of Ukrainian women who are looking for safety for their children in new countries and cities.

“Our women are like birds. They left their homes and families and traveled to new countries and cities for the safety of their children,” comments Yulia. The song “Ptashechka” conveys not only a sense of loss, but also the hope of returning to their native land after the victory, because the hearts of Ukrainian women remain in their homeland.

In her work, Yuliya Lutsenko repeatedly touches upon topical issues that reflect the challenges of our time. The singer strives to convey the strongest human feelings, inspire and heal souls with her music. “What is it like… the fate of a woman against the backdrop of war? How do distances become a real challenge for families? How to preserve national identity?” the artist reflects.
The track “Birdie” is already available on all music platforms, and the singer invites all listeners to listen to her composition, which will undoubtedly find a response in the hearts of many Ukrainians.
