Sofia Richie‘s daughter is making a stylish debut. The 25-year-old model and new mom shared a rare snapshot of her newborn baby, Eloise, wearing a “classy” and chic ensemble.
In the pic, Eloise dons a knit romper in baby pink with matching leather moccasins and ivory socks. Her face is just out of frame.
“Classy girl,” Richie wrote over the image along with a pink hearts emoji.
Richie and husband Elliot Grainge welcomed their first child on May 20, announcing her birth with a sweet black-and-white photo of her tiny feet.
“Eloise Samantha Grainge 5•20•24 best day of my life,” Sofia wrote on Instagram.
Shortly after, Richie shared photos of a lavish party thrown in honor of the newborn. Sofia took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to share a slew of snapshots from the luxurious affair, which was held at an outdoor venue on a grassy lawn and included a special catered menu, Dior dining ware, stunning individual floral arrangements and custom cocktails.
Eloise’s budding sense of style likely won’t be the only thing she inherits from her mama. Sofia’s father, Lionel Richie, spoke with ET on May 13 about how his then-future granddaughter already has some real personality.
Addressing a photo Sofia had posted on Mother’s Day about how she was already nine months pregnant and the baby had not yet arrived, Lionel joked with ET that the decision was intentional on the infant’s part.
“Listen, the baby is a diva,” he quipped. “You can’t come from Sofia and not have some form of defiance.”
Lionel also joked that his youngest daughter would be in for a rude awakening once her baby girl arrives.
“She is going to be in shock because it comes out this small, but it changes your life completely,” Lionel quipped. “And I can’t wait to sit there and laugh at her when she can’t hand the baby back. Elliot and Sofia are going to have a reality [check].”
Richie gave birth shortly after celebrating her first wedding anniversary with Grainge. The couple wed in April 2023 in Antibes, France.
ET spoke with the newlywed bride in September 2023 at the Ralph Lauren spring/summer 2024 runway show in New York City where she gushed over how having her husband by her side had changed her life.
“Usually coming to Fashion Week would give me like a little pit in my stomach,” she admitted. “Having my man next to me for all of it just makes it smooth and easy, and if I ever have that little nervous moment I know I can look at him and he’ll give me that little, ‘You’re good.'”
She continued, “That is everything for me.”
