This song is about loving life and appreciating our best times, about a broken heart and the first adult summer without love.
The song is based on the memories of that very summer, when love was for the first time, when it was pure and sincere, and what it has turned into now, and how much it can kill you inside and make you suffer.
“The beginning of a new path for a new Ukrainian artist. Since school, I’ve been playing in different bands, playing different roles in bands. Mostly and for the longest time I played in dramas in HLAM. Music has been with me all my life in different formats, both as a musician and as a manager, and creating music videos for other artists (P603 production), and we created a music live show here. It’s time to post my music as well, it was created not only by me but by a team of wonderful people: a friend whose guitar parts are mesmerizing, a guy with whom we used to drink and play in garages when we were students. Danya (Apathy, Structure of Happiness), who fantastically took the demo and produced the song. He made musical magic. It’s music that stretches back to 2017, the year that remained in the hearts of many and gave a big boost to the entire youth culture. There is pop here, breakdowns and downbeats, protracted guitar riffs and unearthly electronica, vocals off key and drunkenly recorded guitar off rhythm,” the RADIOIKONA performer said.
“It’s about youth, freedom, and permissiveness. It’s about love for life and appreciating our best times.
This is our music and whether someone likes it or not, we don’t care. It’s ours, it’s for everyone. For car rides, drunken gatherings, and dreamy walks home, for those nights when all your thoughts are on fire and there’s no room for sleep.
