He led Switzerland’s resurgence at Eurovision, helping push Luca Hänni to fourth place in 2019 and Gjon’s Tears to second place (and with a jury win) in 2021.

And now former Head of Delegation Reto Peritz will co-executive produce Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland.

Reto is currently the director of entertainment at SRF, Switzerland’s German-language broadcaster. On top of serving as HoD for several years, he was also an elected member of the ESC Reference Group from 2019 to 2021.

He’ll serve as executive producer alongside Moritz Stadler, who runs operations at RTS, Switzerland’s French-language broadcaster.

“I am honored to serve as the Executive Producer for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 alongside Moritz Stadler,” Reto wrote on Instagram.

“This event marks the contest’s return to its birthplace, where it all began in 1956. In these turbulent times, it offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the values and fundamental reasons behind the #ESC right at its origin.”

“Together with an exceptional team, we aim to create an event that not only showcases the diversity and beauty of Switzerland to the world but also resonates deeply with the Swiss community.”

After thanking a series of colleagues and bosses he added: “We look forward to tackling the challenges ahead and making #Eurovision 2025 a memorable celebration.”
