Melfest queen Jacqline will make it “Effortless” at London Eurovision Party

Posted on 24 March 2024 By Admin No Comments on Melfest queen Jacqline will make it “Effortless” at London Eurovision Party

She made her debut in this year’s Melodifestivalen in Sweden, where she won heat 3 and placed 9th in the grand final with “Effortless“. And now Jacqline will bring her Dua Lipa-esque dance banger to the stage at Here At Outernet for the London Eurovision Party!

Who is Jacqline?

Jacqline Mossberg is 25 year old from Järna, south of Stockholm, who at age 16 ditched high school to focus her attention on a career in the music industry. She placed second in Swedish Idol in 2021 in front of a sold out Avicii Arena in Stockholm, which was her breakthrough.

Since then she has been travelling back and forth to London to work on new music and in 2023 her single “Question My Love” was released, which was positively received. That gave her the confidence to give it a shot at Melodifestivalen this year, where she teamed up with Eurovision winning songwriters Cazzi Opeia, Thomas G:son, Jimmy Jansson (all co-writers on “Tattoo”) and Melfest veteran Dino Medanhodzic to write her entry “Effortless”.

Jacqline herself told us about the song: “Effortless” is about falling head over heels for someone. The feeling where you really just fall in love but don’t really get how it actually happened”. Let’s see if she can get the crowd in London to fall just as effortlessly in love as she apparently did once!

London Eurovision Party 2024

The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom.

The party will see a majority of artists from the year of 2024, but joining them will be some Eurovision alumni too. This year the party celebrates its 15th edition at Here at Outernet in the UK capital.

Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London. It is known for its artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself.

Are you excited to see Jacqline at Here At Outernet? Do you hope she will be back at Melfest sometime? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
