Sweden’s Marcus & Martinus take their twin power to London Eurovision Party

Posted on 19 March 2024 By Admin No Comments on Sweden’s Marcus & Martinus take their twin power to London Eurovision Party

Are you ready to be twin powered? Because Sweden’s Marcus & Martinus will bring their Melfest winner and Eurovision entry “Unforgettable” to the London Eurovision Party.

The Norwegian teen-idols-grown-up will get the crowd dancing to their EDM banger at Here At Outernet in the heart of the UK capital on April 7th.

Who are Marcus & Martinus?

The 22-year old Norwegian twins Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen burst onto the music scene by winning MGP Junior in Norway in 2012 with “To dråper vann”, which made them instant teen idols. Their biggest hit “Elektrisk” from 2015 topped the Norwegian single charts for 66 weeks straight, which is still a record in Norway.

In 2016-2017 they headlined their own “Together Tour” in several European and Asian countries, and in 2018 they were support act on Jason Derulo’s “2Sides Tour”.

They got signed to Universal Music Sweden in 2022 where they also won the Swedish version of “Masked Singer”, being the first duo sharing first place. Their single “When All The Lights Go Out” was also released in 2022, and in 2023 they competed in Melodifestivalen with “Air” coming second overall to later Eurovision winner Loreen.

This year they entered Melodifestivalen once again, where they swept both the jury and public votes to win convincingly with “Unforgettable”, and they will also be the first act to perform in the Eurovision final in May. But before that they will visit London on their Eurovision 2024 preparty tour.

London Eurovision Party 2024

The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom.

The party will see a majority of artists from the year of 2024, but joining them will be some Eurovision alumnis too. This year the party celebrates its 15th edition at Here at Outernet in the UK capital.

Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London. It is known for its artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself.
