Taylor Swift Goes Casual in Beyoncé’s Ivy Park Sneakers and Leggings Outside NYC Studio

Posted on 12 January 2024 By Admin No Comments on Taylor Swift Goes Casual in Beyoncé’s Ivy Park Sneakers and Leggings Outside NYC Studio

Taylor Swift is offering another subtle show of support for her friend, Beyoncé. The “Karma” singer stepped out in a rare athleisure moment on Thursday — continuing her ongoing streak of Reputation coded green, brown and black themed ensembles — rocking a pair of Ivy Park (Queen Bey’s brand) sneakers.

Swift was snapped outside the iconic Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village on Thursday, where she has been seen numerous times in recent weeks. She traded her usual dresses and heels for comfy black leggings with a brown and cream colored men’s zebra print fleece zip-up by Adidas.

Underneath, a green crewneck T-shirt is visible, while her shoes — the “Savage Trail” sneaker from Bey’s Ivy Park Ivytopia campaign with Adidas — are a khaki color.

Coincidentally, (or perhaps not) Adidas is the brand that dropped Kanye West last year for his anti-Semitic comments. Much of Swift’s Reputation album was a response to her public feud with West over the lyrics and subsequent video to his song, “Famous.”

On Thursday, Swift wore her hair pulled back in a simple pony and kept on her classic sunglasses, even in the dark of night. Swift accessorized with blue earrings and a simple necklace with an engraved pendant. While it’s impossible to make out the words via paparazzi photos, fans on X have noted that it looks like an offering from Vanessa Bryant‘s limited edition Mambacita jewelry line that featured the quote “Bet on Yourself” from the late Kobe Bryant.

This is all part of Swift’s ongoing fashion statements to, presumably, plug an upcoming album rerelease. While an official announcement has not yet been made, Swifties suspect that the star is gearing up to drop Reputation (Taylor’s Version). The songstress has long been known to use fashion as an intentional way to hint at upcoming projects, offering subtle statements and clues for her eagle-eyed fans.

It’s worth noting that with each of her Taylor’s Version rereleases, Swift has been sharing never-before-heard tracks — many of which have included new collaborations.

With their respective Eras and Renaissance tours taking the world by storm over the last year, Swift and Beyoncé have offered each other their public support. First, Bey showed up to attend the Los Angeles premiere of Swift’s Eras Tour concert doc in October.

“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence,” Swift wrote on Instagram at the time. “The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale. 😇🙏🥹.”

Then, one month later, Swift jetted off to London in celebration of Beyoncé’s Renaissance documentary release.

With only two of her original albums left to be rereleased, many have speculated that Reputation could be next, while others have made a case for a Taylor Swift Easter egg.

Regarding her 2006 self-titled debut, Swift’s album cover featured a blue and green background with whimsical butterfly detailing. At the Golden Globes on Sunday, Swift wore a glittering green gown while her date —  pal Keleigh Teller — donned a light blue gown with flowers. The women also posed in front of an intricately painted wall that included flowers and — you guessed it — butterflies.

Meanwhile, Swift has seemed to be embracing Reputation themed fashion choices in recent months, including a black catsuit for her Time Person of the Year profile, among other all-black ensembles. Over the last week alone, she has been seen exclusively wearing green, black and brown outfits, appearing to serve as an homage to the snake imagery she previously used to promote her 2017 studio album.

The superstar also recently addressed her public fallout with West and his then-wife, Kim Kardashian, which famously fueled much of the material on Reputation, in a Time interview.

“Make no mistake—my career was taken away from me… I thought that moment of backlash was going to define me negatively for the rest of my life,” she told the mag. “That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before.”

Regarding her current superstar moment, she noted, “This is the proudest and happiest I’ve ever felt, and the most creatively fulfilled and free I’ve ever been.”

Swift is set to kick off her Eras Tour again after a two-month hiatus on Feb. 7 in Tokyo, Japan.
