La más zorra: Nebulossa reaches number one on Spotify’s Viral 50 Spain with her Benidorm Fest entry

Posted on 2 January 2024 By Admin No Comments on La más zorra: Nebulossa reaches number one on Spotify’s Viral 50 Spain with her Benidorm Fest entry

She might just be a bitch, but she’s now a bitch with a number one single. Nebulossa has reached the top of Spotify’s Viral 50 Spain list with her Benidorm Fest entry “Zorra“.

Spotify Spain opened 2024 with a number of Benidorm Fest 2024 singles making their debut in the Viral 50 list. Nebulossa, with over 400,000 streams, is one of the most popular artists of the bunch.

Mari, the lead singer, couldn’t hide her happiness about this. She wrote on instagram: This is mindblowing! Thank you to all Zorras who made our little song the most viral in Spain on the first day of 2024.

Marlena also entered the list with their entry “Amor de Verano”, which amasses the most streams so far out of any participant: their entry has been played over 541,000 times. They are, however, at number 92.

Fan favourite Sofia Coll is the second highest ranking artist. Her tune Here To Stay is now at number 23 in the list, with over 330K streams. Ten places after her is bolero sensation st. Pedro, with his entry “Dos Extraños”.

Almácor comes in at number 35 with his song “Brillos Platino”, again, one of the most popular entries from Benidorm Fest, with over 360,000 streams. Noan comes in at place 81 with his song “Te Echo de -“.

Benidorm Fest 2024: A steady success

Benidorm Fest entries have been progressing and little by little getting to the Spanish public. Their appearance at the Viral 50 list is another step towards the show itself, which will happen later this month.

It’s not the first time this happens. In fact, last year’s top lister Vicco was also making the rounds before the contest with her hit “Nochentera” and in 2022, Rigoberta Bandini even hit the Global Viral list.
