Moldova has announced 32 songs and artists, who are in the running to represent them at Eurovision 2023 in Malmö.
There’s some familiar names among the participants, including Aliona Moon, who represented the country in 2013, Natalia Barbu, and Sasha Bognibov, who holds the record for the most songs entered in national selections for Eurovision.
The 32 songs will be heard on January 13th by a professional jury in the live auditions stage of the selection. Then, the competing songs will be whittled down further for Etapa Națională 2024, the National Final which will take place on February 17th.
Moldovan Național Broadcaster TRM received a total of 51 submissions in their open call for songs, down 9 from the total received for the Moldovan selection for Eurovision 2023.
The 32 participating songs and artists for Moldova at Eurovision 2024 are:
