Singer Natisa Gogol presents a joint video work with director Yuriy Dvizhon.
“Love for Real” is a song about sincere feelings, coming from the lips of a woman in love.
The melody of the tender vocals is combined with a pop sound with elements of retro-sounding synth-wave and disco. It is this combination of lyrics and music that distinguishes the track and immerses it in a hypnotic atmosphere. The author of the song is the legendary American singer and composer Gregory Darling, who once performed on the same stage as Prince and Bryan Adams and created music for the Idol show.
Natisa Gogol: “The main message of the song is in the title and chorus – I believe in love. I believe in love, no matter what kind and no matter with whom. All that is real in this life is love, and everything else is an illusion. I want the song to find a response in people’s hearts.”
Along with the single, the singer presented a video for the song. The video was directed by Yuriy Dvizhon. This is the second collaboration between the artists.
Natisa Gogol’s partner in the video is actor and choreographer Shakil Brash. In the video, the heroine is going through a breakup with her lover, a feeling familiar to anyone who has been in a relationship. It is a gay friend who helps the girl overcome her depression. But despite all the hardships and disappointments, the heroine continues to believe in love, which is the main message of the song.

Natisa Gogol: “The main message of the video is that love has no borders, no barriers, no gender, no race. Love is what is inside and around us. You don’t choose love, you follow the call of your heart.
The idea of the video emphasizes that love has no laws, it is beyond laws and human dogmas. With this video, I support the LGBT+ community and the principle that love has no limits. This song and video are about the equality of all people, regardless of who they love.”
Yuriy Dvizhon, director of the video: “I’m very glad that the video turned out to be cheerful, vital and humorous. It fully reveals my current inner state as a director and a Ukrainian. Despite the events and moments that we are currently experiencing in our lives, we try to look positively to the future and find reasons for joy and laughter. The main thing is to have faithful loved ones and friends by your side.”
